At THP, we believe that testing should be done not only by us, but also by golfers just like you. One of the cool features about being an active member of the THP Forum is that we look to you guys/gals, the consumers, to give feedback on equipment to golfers all around the world. Each month we send out iron sets, drivers, hybrids, putters, trainings aids and golf balls to our active members to be a part of the THP Forum Member testing. So, who wants to test the brand new Vortex Anarch laser rangefinder?

Vortex Anarch
A couple of weeks ago, we published our review of the Vortex Anarch and if you missed that, you can find it here. We also previously took a deep dive into the company in a Brand Story you do not want to miss. The Anarch might just be the best laser rangefinder on the market, but we want you to put it to the test and tell us what you think.
Criteria
We will select a group of 5 THPers that will join THP’s Education Director @Jman for this testing. If selected you will get a rundown prior to ordering of the posting and review expectations. If you have questions beforehand, do not hesitate to ask below.
You must be able to check in on the forum thread daily (or close to it) to discuss and answer questions.
Please note: You will be reviewing the device for a period of two months and then it is yours to keep. If you cannot commit to this length of testing please do not signup.
How to Signup to Test
Comment below and follow these instructions.
Step 1 – What laser or distance measuring device are you currently using?
Step 2 – What feature of the Anarch are you interested in finding out about?
You must apply by end of day Friday, February 28th, 2025
We will announce the testers on Saturday, March 1st, on the THP Forum.

Entries should be aplenty on this one.
Who wouldn’t want to test the Anarch?
These WILL blow minds.
EVERY SINGLE THPer should be signing up for this. Hands down the best rangefinder I have bought. This is an incredible opportunity for people. I love my Anarch and have people try it all of the time to show them how good it is! Good luck everyone
What laser or distance measuring device are you currently using?
ShotScope Pro L2
Step 2 – What feature of the Anarch are you interested in finding out about?
Glass quality and speed. Mainly clarity because Vortex’s scopes usually get recommended as just as good (clear/bright) as the more expensive scopes.
Very cool testing opp here, looking forward to the feedback.
1. Precision pro NX10
2. The superior optics and clarity that’s been raved about.
1. I’m currently using a Nikon Prostaff 3i that is hunting oriented.
2. I’m interested in testing the quality of the vortex optics. They have been top notch in terms of performance/price ratio in other products I’ve used.
1. Shotscope PRO L1
2. Would love to check out the great optics s well as the full image stabilization system.
Man I want to enter this one so bad but unless people want to know how it performs constantly remeasuring the 10ft to the sun screen, I think I have to sit this one out.
1) an old Bushnell – no slope, no stabilization, no frills.
2) Slope mode is the first thing that comes to mind. Want to see just how different in yardage slope plays into the shot; second is the immediate vibration notification when locking onto a pin, sometimes I am looking back and forth since my rangefinder is giving me multiple yardage amounts.
This is great
Step 1 – What laser or distance measuring device are you currently using?
ShotScope Pro L2
Step 2 – What feature of the Anarch are you interested in finding out about?
The optics, I briefly tried @Doubleb21 Anarch and was amazed by the clarity. I would love to test this on course.
Wow. Really infatuated with the Anarch’s. They could pull double duty for activities outside of golf. Good luck everyone getting involved in this one. Unfortunately with the upper midwest weather I can’t ensure I will play enough outdoor golf to do this one justice in reviewing.
Step 1 – Bushnell Gold app
Step 2 – being able to get exact distances and not relying on a dying phone for an estimate.
I currently using a blue tees pro+, I would be most curious about how good it shoots distances that aren’t pins. Like carry distance, front of greens, and layups.
Bushnell V3 – old model, doesn’t even have slope
I like to see the clarity of the optics. Since I hunt I use clear riflescopes. Also like to see how fast it picks up the target. Plus, it’s got slope. ? never used a unit with slope. Does it make a difference? Maybe I won’t air mail the green when it’s severely downhill
Great opportunity here. Unfortunately, I have no clue as to when my season will start. Likely not until April. That precludes me from trying for this testing opportunity.
Yet, as someone who has never used a rangefinder, I’ll be very interested in reading the tester’s feedback.
Step 1 – I am currently using an older Bushnell Pro 1M
Step 2 – I’m really interested in the image stabilization as I can sometimes get shaky when trying to snag a flag. Also the Pinspotter mode paired with it to make sure I’m actually grabbing the flag.
Step 1- Shot Scope Pro LX+
Step 2- The image stabilization is something that I would like see how it works. I will sometimes try to shoot a pin one handed or while leaning out of the cart and feel like this could really help in those situations along with just making it easier to lock on the flag while shooting normally.
The first rangefinder I used was actually a Vortex I used some for hunting. It was great for hunting. The clarity and operation was great but the only downside was for golf it didn’t lock onto the pin. You had to make sure you were right on the flag and shoot it 2-3 times to make sure you were actually getting the flag haha.
Ooh, this is a fantastic opportunity! Ever since seeing the Anarch when I played with @Doubleb21 I was jealous. A chance to review this device would be awesome!
Step 1 – What laser or distance measuring device are you currently using?
I currently use a Bushnell V5 Shift rangefinder as well as my Apple Watch with the Golf4Watch app to give me front/middle/back yardages
Step 2 – What feature of the Anarch are you interested in finding out about?
To be honest, all of them 😉 . However, I’m quite intrigued by the red illumination and the image stabilization features.
Thanks for the opportunity THP and Vortex!
Golf season is just about to get going. Would love to test this out to start the season
Step 1 – What laser or distance measuring device are you currently using? Precision Pro NX10
Step 2 – What feature of the Anarch are you interested in finding out about? The image stabilization is something I could certainly use help with
Really looking forward to how these reviews turn out.
1. Currently not using a rangefinder but have spent significant time with the bushnell models.
2. Most interested in the image stabilization feature and Pinspotter mode. Historically, when using rangefinders I’ve got shaky hands and it has always been a struggle to lock on targets.
1. Garmin Z30
2. Many great features but what I want to test more than anything is the image stabilization. I shake, can’t hold still, sometimes have trouble locking onto the flag or targets. Hope the Vortex Anarch is the one that works for me. That being said…clear optics for old man eyes could be great as well.
I keep hearing great things about these!
1. Nikon Aculon that is well past its prime.
2. PinSpotter Mode with the lock and visual/vibratory feedback. Had one too many times lately shooting a number that wasn’t the pin!
Ohhhh yessss, so excited to see this!
#1 Bushnell Pro x2
#2 Image stabilization, pinseeker, cart magnet (haven’t had one built in before)
Step 1 – What laser or distance measuring device are you currently using? I’m not currently using one as my Bushnell tour v3 was stolen when at the course a few weeks ago!
Step 2 – What feature of the Anarch are you interested in finding out about? Definitely the stabilisation as I was finding it harder and harder to hold steady with eht Bushnell. Also slope as I’ve never used a finder with slope before!
What a great test/review opportunity, thanks THP and Vortex!
Step 1 – What laser or distance measuring device are you currently using? Precision Pro NX9 Slope
Step 2 – What feature of the Anarch are you interested in finding out about? Sounds like the Anarch hits everything you would want on the features list, but the world class optics and image stabilization interest me the most. I’ve used rangefinders with most of the features listed for the Anarch, some done well, some not so much, but I have never tried one with image stabilization or with what I would consider better than average optics.
1. Currently dont use a range finder, but do use a Shot Scope watch.
2. When using friends I find that I shake a little so its hard to lock in, so the image stabilization I feel will be my favorite feature.
This is a great testing opportunity, Vortex are spoken very highly of around here! I’m on the THP forum daily and our golf season is in full swing, I’m consistently playing 3 rounds per week.
1 – What laser or distance measuring device are you currently using? Currently using the Callaway Pro 300 rangefinder and the 18Birdies app on an Apple Watch Ultra 2.
2 – What feature of the Anarch are you interested in finding out about? Image stabilization. I walk most of my rounds, so don’t have a cart to brace against when shooting measurements, the IS would be a big help.
Awesome opportunity.
Step 1 – What laser or distance measuring device are you currently using? RexMeo Amazon Special
Step 2 – What feature of the Anarch are you interested in finding out about? The biggest one is stabilization as I find that the hardest part of using my current rangefinder. I am also excited to compare the optics between the two.

Man I’d love to jump in this. The Anarch was on my budget for this season and I haven’t yet pulled the trigger.
I just can’t commit to being able to golf over the next two months here in Wisconsin.
I’ll be looking forward to this testing though! Its gonna blow some minds!

Come down to Texas I’ll help you out with that, only caveat is you’re not allowed to drive ?
Step 1 – I am currently using an older Bushnell Pro 1M
Step 2 – I’m really interested in the image stabilization as I can sometimes get shaky when trying to snag a flag. Also the Pinspotter mode paired with it to make sure I’m actually grabbing the flag.

Oh that’s a good one too I can have my dad test the pin spotter so he dosent tell me its 150 when the shot is actually 120….
What laser or distance measuring device are you currently using? Bluetees max 3
What feature of the Anarch are you interested in finding out about? the superior optics and accuracy.. my current one seems to fluctuate by a few yards on the same target
1. Bushnell Tour V5
2. The auto adjustment to keep you in the game in all light conditions and Waterproof.
1. Currently using a GOGOGO Vsport Pro
2. I am interested in the optics and the image stabilization
such a cool opportunity. Vortex is such a good company.
I’d love and need this!
– Currently using a Bushnell Tour V3 – so it’s time for an upgrade
– Feature? The stabilization. The 2 courses I play the most are hilly and I have to “zap” the pin multiple times to make sure I’m getting the correct distance and not the ground in the background. I’d love to have something I knew was accurate
Please throw my name in the bucket.
I currently use a Bushnell 400 range finder. Its an oldie, but still gets the job done….up to 400 yards
I would like to give the “Pin Spotter Flag” part a try. I never owned a range finder that I could shoot the flag with.
Checking in daily, for two months wont be a problem.. The Vortex Anarch would probably get used daily either in practice, or play for 2 months. I’m currently on a streak of 56 straight days of practice or play. (My 2025 Quest) The Vortex Anarch would get a thorough work out in what ever weather Ma Nature throws at it.
Thanks for the opportunity.
Embarrassingly, I have never been able to use a range finder competently and this one looks great.
1. I have been using a T9 GPS watch for measurements.
2. Image stabilization: I can never lock onto a flag with my shaky hands.
1. Precision Pro NX10 Slope and SwingU gps app on my phone depending on the situation.
2. Image stabilization and target lock.
Love their rifle optics and binoculars, range finder has to be good.
1 – Bushnell Pro XE
2 – The image stabilization and the PinSpotter mode sound awesome, those sound like game changers.
Amazing opportunity
1) Bushnell V3
2) I would love a rangefinder with slope and the fact it can measure up to 1400 yds I will finally be able to see where @Jeff Spicoli ’s drives go
Very cool opportunity.
Step 1 – What laser or distance measuring device are you currently using? Callaway 300 Pro
Step 2 – What feature of the Anarch are you interested in finding out about? High quality optics. Have never experienced this upper tier optics in a rangefinder before.
amazing opportunity here!!! I have one already (havent been able to use it) but im looking forward to more feedback on these
1) Bushell Volt 3
2). Stabilization and clear glass along with the Vortex fantastic warranty
Would be all over this if it was a month later, but not sure the weather will cooperate yet. I’m on probably year ten with a Nikon Coolshot, so would love to upgrade and have a few Vortex scopes that are amazing.
Awesome opportunity, I’ve heard good things.
1. Currently using Cobalt Q6
2. Interested most in image stabilization and PinSpotter mode. Sometimes I feel currently it is hard to pick up the flag.
1. Bushnell Pro XE
2.Always about best optics and accurate locking on.
Great opportunity for someone, thanks
Love this! Awesome opportunity here.
Great opportunity and this thing sounds AMAZING. Weather is finally starting to warm up around here to allow outside golf again, so the timing is good!
Step 1 – What laser or distance measuring device are you currently using? Leupold GX-1i (yeah, it’s REALLY old lol)
Step 2 – What feature of the Anarch are you interested in finding out about? I’m most interested in the pin locking up to 350 yards out and the image stabilization. I always have a hard time holding steady enough to scan pins further than around 180 or so, so this is really intriguing to me.
Good luck all!!
I use the ARRCOS sensor system. I look forward to be more accurate to the pin and hazards on the course
Good luck to all that enter. I still like mine a lot and I won’t be able to play golf regularly until at least April… So I’ll have to pass on this one.
Currently use a Blue Tees Max 3+ rangefinder along with a Garmin S62 watch.
I am very intrigued with the Image Stabilization. The comments that it works well for older golfers sounds fantastic.
