At THP, we believe that testing should be done not only by us, but also by golfers just like you. One of the cool features about being an active member of the THP Forum is that we look to you guys/gals, the consumers, to give feedback on equipment to golfers all around the world. Each month we send out iron sets, drivers, hybrids, putters, trainings aids and golf balls to our active members to be a part of the THP Forum Member testing. So, who wants to test the new Wilson Dynapower Forged irons?

The Irons
A couple of months ago we published our review of the new Wilson Dynapower Forged irons and came away extremely impressed. If you missed that feature article and want to catch up on the data and information, you can find it here. But we want even more feedback. To make that happen we want to put sets of irons into the hands of regular golfers, and Wilson has been incredibly gracious to make that happen.
Criteria
We will select a group of 5 THPers to join @jman and @hawk to test the new irons. You will be receiving a complete set of your choosing.
You must be able to check in on the forum threads daily (or close to it) to discuss and answer questions.
In a perfect world, you would be able to go through Wilson Fit AI before placing the order, but we understand it is not near everybody as of yet.
You will be reviewing the irons for a period of two months and then they are yours to keep.

How to Signup to Test the Wilson Dynapower Forged Irons
Comment below and answer these 3 questions.
1. Which irons do you currently play?
2. What stands out in Dynapower Forged that make them seem right for you?
3. What is your current iron set make up and shafts you play?
We will announce the testers on Friday, April 26th, on the THP Forum. If you want to learn more about Dynapower Forged irons or any of the Wilson products, check out their website at www.wilson.com.
Currently playing Titleist T-100S irons.
The look of the Dynapower Forged irons is very similar to my current irons, which I love. I also have a soft spot for Wilson irons as I played the 1200 GE for quite a long time. I would really like to side by side test them with my Titleist irons for a comparison.
Current set make up is 4-GW with Project X LZ shafts
I would love the opportunity to test the new Wilson Dynapwr Forged irons. As a golfer who is a a 13 handicap in, on his way to 10, in his later 60’s, I feel I would provide the perspective and feedback that you are looking for. I currently play Titleist 714 ap1 irons and I am looking to upgrade to the new technology.
I would be really grateful for the chance to test the Dynapower Forged irons. I am a 15.7 handicap golfer in my late 60s with a passionate desire to find an improvement set of clubs that will help me get down to 10 before my 70th!!! I have always played Wilson and Wilson Staff clubs and am currently looking to find a new set of irons that can help me reach my goal so this opportunity to test the Dynapower Forged irons is a superb chance and would enable me to inform similar golfers to me as I try them out.
My current irons are Wilson Staff D200 with Elements graphite shafts.
1. Currently play Wilson D9 forged. Really like them.
2. Higher launch for same loft? Greater distance? Easier to hit the long irons? More forgiving? Are the dynapower a step up?
3. Irons are Wilson 6-PW, regularly steel shaft. TM 9wood, 3W, Callaway driver. Wedges are ping glide. Am an 11 handicap.
I currently game the new Dynapower irons and have got a little while now.
Currently gaming Wilson D7 forged irons with Kbs tour 90 shafts. I think the dynapower will improve my game because my miss is usually low on the face and the reviews I have read about the dynapower irons is that is there secret sauce.
Currently playing Mizuno 225s
The Dynapowers inspire a bit more confidence at address with the same if not more forgiveness.
Currently playing 4-P 225 with Nippon 120 stiff shafts
I Play the wilson D9 irons regular shaft. With the wilson launchpad 2 hybrids and driver, 3 and 5 wood. I am currently a 14 handicap. Have been looking at purchasing the dynapower but not sure if they would improve my game. Would love to give them a test.
Hi I play Mizuno job 921 and want to switch to a forged irons for better feel. I play 4-Gap,SW all with Project X LZ 5.5 blackout shafts. Thanks for your consideration
Currently play pxg 0311 irons and at 64 I’m looking for a more powerful iron as my swings got slower current shafts are aerotech i95 stiff
I play Mizuno jpx 921 and am looking to improve feel by going with a forged club. I use 4-gap, sw. all with Project X LZ 5.5 blackout shafts. Thank you for your consideration.
Currently Play Srixon ZX4 4-P regular shafts
I think wilson is under the radar when it comes to golf equipment in the past few years. I hear good things and would like to try them out
I would love to try any equipment you have for trial
I’m a 16 WHI but did play off 4 when I was younger. I’m now in my late sixties and play Mizuno MP67’s with a stiff shaft. I am fairly up to date with equipment and would love to be included in trying new technology to see and feel the difference equipment will make to a tried and tested auld guy with plenty of time on his hands to participate in such equipment tests. I would especially like to test any putters and wedges you may have for inclusion in this testing.
1. I currently play Mizuno JPX 919 Forged irons.
2. What makes the Wilson Dynapower stand out for me is the chrome high gloss finish, head shape and a thinner top line of the irons. I prefer a traditional players iron and the Wilson Dynapower forged checks that box but also includes some tech for forgiveness.
3. My current iron setup is 4-PW with True Temper Tour Issue 120 X100
Wilson also has a long history of great craftsmanship and durability I look for in iron sets because I prefer not to change iron set often.
I started playing golf with Wilson woods and blade irons over 50 years ago. Would love to try the new irons and woods. I love the look and feel of them. Play on a links course and feel they would really help my game.
My first set were Wilson I have bought cobra but miss my Wilson’s
I played wilson staff irons for years ,I recently switched to the tour edge e722 series but I kept my old D300 wilson driver, I am looking to switch back to wilson.
I am currently using ping irons, but I am about to change these for another brand,
As a junior golfer playing off single figures I feel these new dynapower forged irons will take my game to the next level. With the forgiveness and feel required to improve my game. My current set up is 5 iron – sw with a regular graphite shaft. Weighing 65- 75 grams
I’m in the market for new irons (currently gaming ping ISI irons) and have been intrigued by the Wilson collection. Quite underrated from what I’ve tried out. Would be very interested in giving these a try.
I’m currently playing the Wilson Staff Fi5 irons Forged. They got some age on them, but I had to finally put up the 1986 model Wilson Staff Fluid Feels. I played them for years. Loved those clubs. I’m 54 now and just can’t do the blades anymore. They have the True Temper S300 shaft in them. I really want to try the Nippon Modus3 120 shafts in my next iron set. I’m planning on getting fitted in the next couple weeks for new irons. I want to try out quite a bit of different manufactures this time. Leaning toward the Srixon ZX 5’s with the Modus 3 shafts. I’ve always been a stiff flex shaft and all standard loft and lie. I got the Wilson Staff skeleton carry bag, love it. I like the Golf Pride tour wrap grips. They are more expensive. But you can wash them a few times a year and they feel as good as new. As for the Dynapower irons interest. I need newer technology. I want the lower center of gravity for higher launch and forgiveness. Which is crucial at my age. I’m hoping to have good turf interaction with the sole of this club. I’m also looking for to the ball springing off the face of the club. My current and older irons have never had that performance. Thanks for listening to me. I would love the opportunity to try these irons out. I’m in Georgetown Ky and my home course it Cherry Blossom.
