very cool opening up like you did!! love the story on the Leadership training!! I too have been one of those guys that was selected to lead one of those programs, and had our HR guy share a story almost Identical along the lines of “your all high achievers, your all well educated (Stanford, MIT, Yale, etc.) and as he went on, I was sitting on stage speaking next….I decided to take the opportunity to share that education is merely one component along the path, and that I was someone who dropped out of college…The HR guy was staring intently…I went on to share that I have hired and fired people from every education level, and from every Ivy League school…the one thing that unites all top performers, is passion and commitment to excellenc…Had about 5 people come up and thank me for sharing my own story of lack of college degree…The best of the best…the top performers and leaders, are all at their core intensely humble people who work their butts off!!!
