It has become more and more common for companies to give their current releases a bit of a refresh via limited edition finishes and aesthetics. While some out there might shake their fists at the sky about how such things should all come out at one time, what is the fun in that?
New and shiny is always exciting but add in a brand new finish and things get kicked up a notch or three. While some have leaned into this more than others, Mizuno Golf has taken a much more deliberate approach which very much stays in line with the base principles of the company. More specifically, if they are going to do a limited release, then they are going to make sure it lives up to Mizuno standards.
Today marks the culmination of such diligence and commitment to not only doing it correctly for the brand, but the consumer as well. More choices, but the same legendary Mizuno feel.
Mizuno JPX 925 Hot Metal Black
The JPX 925 Hot Metal irons have been a massive success for Mizuno Golf, building on the past iterations while implementing even more technology than ever before. The application of Mizuno’s Nickel Chromoly chassis into the Hot Metal design with its refined application of tungsten weighting in the 4-7 has taken playability to new heights.

While it would have been simple to slap a random black finish on the irons and call it a day, Mizuno doesn’t function like that, and the application here has taken every surface and radius into careful consideration. In all, it should be a welcome addition to the 925 Forged Black which has been on the market since January.
Mizuno Pro T-1 Denim Copper Wedges
We detailed the release of the T-1 wedges from Mizuno earlier this year upon their release, and since then the designs have been lauded as quite possibly the most beautiful wedges ever done by the brand. However, from the moment they dropped, the internet was left clamoring for the return of a previous wedge finish that was absent at the initial release. Well, T-1 fans can rest easy now, as Denim Copper is back.
The return of this “Timeless” finish is one that should truly round out these Grain Flow Forged works of art. Not only is a it a nod to old school wedge designs, but it is a full release option, meaning the Denim Copper will be offered in all six of the T-1 sole options (S, M, P, C, V, and X) and across their loft matrix. Interestingly, this will be a US only release from Mizuno.
Mizuno Pro T-3 Black Wedges
The Pro T-3 wedges might be the most under-the-radar release from Mizuno Golf in 2025. They not only feature all of the traits which make Mizuno wedges so desirable like Grain Flow Forging as well as Quad Cut and Hydroflow Micro Grooves, but they could be the best looking cavity-back style wedge ever produced.

Yes, you read that correctly, the Pro T-3 wedges are finally being released in a black finish across all three grind options (S, M, and C) as well as full loft availability. Visually, not only will the black finish reduce glare, but it will also make an already svelte yet forgiving wedge design even more appealing to a wider range of players.
