A couple of years ago nearly to the day, Mizuno launched their latest in the line of JPX irons, with the 921. Today, we get a look into the future with the JPX923 irons, yet we are not able to share a lot with you as of yet.
Hitting the USGA Conforming list are what you would expect, and a couple of things you probably wouldn’t have expected.
JPX923 Forged and Tour irons
JPX923 Hot Metal and Hot Metal Pro Irons
JPX923 Hot Metal HL
LH Forged Irons
As mentioned, it is a bit too early to bring a lot of the information, we can share that in the near future we will not only have full details, but also have these irons in the hands of THP Forum Members for full user review as well as our detailed thoughts on the technology.
Stay tuned for more coming soon on the entire line of new JPX irons. As always for the latest in availability, check out their website at www.mizunogolf.com.
From what I have read, people have liked their older model of irons, it’ll be nice to see what the new offerings are with these.
I cannot freaking wait to give THPers all the info I’m allowed to about how they work out for me here in a few short weeks.
Will wait for better pictures, but those that can be shared aren’t encouraging me to change
They do have a very lengthy line.
This brings 5 iron sets to the JPX side of things to go with 3 from Mizuno Pro.
And I would do the opposite, and it wouldn’t be close. People like different things.

Some of us NEED to know ALL the things….
These look good in this view but my wallet keeps telling me I don’t like the look
The Victory Cup is going to be so good! Can’t imagine how amped up you guys must be for that!
Thinking the same thing! Is Mizuno moving into the "SGI" market? Maybe impliting some of their Japanese Market Tech in an HL iron.
Think shaft availability for the HL will be the tell tale sign.
Edit – Mizuno Japan site shows HL only available in Graphite Reg Flex 6-PW only
I do too. It’s right up my alley, and the Tours already have my attention this year. A few days ago I was in store comparing the 221 and 921 Tour though and forgot how much longer the Tours look. The 221s aren’t exactly compact for their style, so it threw me for a second. Blades length is always what kept me out of Mizunos in the past so it’s always on my mind. I’ll be curious to see the progression over a whole 4-P set.
The Forged look nicely improved too.
There are some interesting things in that video as well. Some good visuals.

Some of us might be jealous and fighting the urge to eyeroll you.
Not me of course, but some. Probably.

Those dates are interesting. Slightly different than what I was told to expect a couple weeks ago.
Edit: I may actually be thinking of a different new release I try not to log too much date stuff to memory until I see it on an actual sheet.
