Off Course is back this week with a fantastic show. Hosted by Dan Edwards, each Friday he gives you a deep look into the world of golf and equipment in a way unlike any other podcast has done before. Today Roger Teat, President/GM of MotoCaddy Americas, joins the show to talk about all things electric caddies.
It wouldn’t be Off Course without some tangents, but Dan and Roger discuss everything from the company’s upcoming releases to a Sustainable Golf Innovation Partnership that is really intriguing. This show has a lot going on and is one you will not want to miss as MotoCaddy goes Off Course.
Episode 110 is here and Dan and Roger discuss the following topics.

I sit up on a bit of a slope too, so the video would be hilarious.
It was interesting haha. When @Canadan and I did the side by side of two brands, we saw how much difference CG made from the battery. I know that Chris from Mizuno actually purchased the other brand previously and had some issues enough that he was super excited to be a part of the Motocaddy Experience we are doing.
It IS funny, until you’re watching your cart hit a slope from ten feet away with a remote in your hands and the whole thing tips.
Motocaddy is about as solid as it gets.
Just means I have more to listen to after work! Can’t wait to fire this one up!
Just downloaded it. I’m trying to get out before next week and try it out
Next week is going to be fun.
It was awesome to hear the standard M7 will stay in the line as I’m not 100% sure I am going to grab the GPS M7.
I haven’t listened yet, but I LOVE to hear this!
This will happen. I think we need to put to the test how many cold beverages I can deliver.
How did it work?
the pro 5000 talk was really interesting to me as well, as someone who is relatively new to rangefinders, I still find myself defaulting to gps on my phone a lot, and then get caught in the middle of using one or the other. excited to hear the details of not only that but where else the company t wants to go to fit all the caddy needs
When life slows down and kids grow up a motocaddy moves up the ponder list quickly.
I have seen a few more electric carts out at the club recently.
Show off.
Nah. You and Roger Are the stars of this thread. That was a good listen.
Seemed to work decent enough. I actually kind of liked the 2D view as well it made the course look better than it is haha. There were a couple times I didn’t trust it and the layout seemed a bit off though. I bet it works much better paired with a motocaddy device than as a standalone. Here’s a screenshot

Yep, sounds like a great experiment!
tried to sync the app to my M7 without success. Any suggestions?
