Recently there have been a lot of rumors around a new SkyTrak simulator coming out in 2023. There was mention of something called SkyTrak + or SkyTrak Plus and of course THP dropped news and signups for the SkyTrak Experience coming later this year, where every participant will meet the team for an unforgettable trip at Ballyhack and of course get some new hardware from SkyTrak and lessons from GolfTEC.
Today some news is being dropped and while we cannot share everything, we can share that it is true. A new SkyTrak is coming out and they have implemented a lot of the requests people have had.
I was personally also glad to hear that the new launch monitor will have updated software and enhanced access to courses. I always thought that SkyTrak had the best simulator user experience in terms of UI, but when comparing the constantly moving targets that the tech side of golf has, updates here should make it even better.
SkyTrak has been in my opinion, the best affordable indoor simulation in terms of playability and performance. Yes there are cheaper, but if you have followed THP for any period of time, you know my personal feelings on some of them. For SkyTrak users currently, the company will have a really cool trade in program that is unlike what is expected.
Finally, after the last update, there have been some complaints about customer service. This is and will be going forward their first priority and they have already increased their customer support team in a big way and will continue to.
So here we are Garage Sim Crew members and future #GarageSimCrew members. A new simulator is coming. Will it be the SkyTrak Plus that people have been talking about? We can’t share that yet, but we can say what we are hearing is pretty darn exciting and with the THP Experience this year as well, we are pretty confident it is going to be a hot topic on the THP forum.
