Off Course is back this week with a fantastic show and this is episode 312. Hosted by Dan Edwards, each Friday we give you a deep look into the world of golf and equipment in a way unlike any other podcast has done before. Today, Rod Dunlap from CaddyDaddy joins the show to discuss isolating what matters in the CaddyDaddy lineup.
It wouldn’t be Off Course without some tangents, but Dan and Rod dive into many topics including how the airlines do some pretty impressive things to golf bags and chasing what means something rather than trends. This show has a lot going on and is one you will not want to miss as Rod from CaddyDaddy goes Off Course.

Episode 312 is here and Dan and Rod Dunlap discuss the following topics and a whole lot more.
Airlines do some pretty impressive things to golf bags
Isolating what matters in the CaddyDaddy bag lineup
Chasing what means something rather than trends
Meaningful features on the bag lineup and what could be coming
Pay attention, a bag sale is coming in October!
And so much more
You can listen to the show right here, Apple Podcasts or anywhere you do your listening and downloading from, including Spotify and more. This should be a fun listen, starting it up now. Always blows my mind what airlines can do to a golf travel bag. Excited to hear about what’s new with bags in the future.
Dirty underwear reference within 3 minutes
Balancing light weight, durability, and luxury isn’t an easy thing to do, but I really do think the RevCore LT does a great job at it.
So cool to hear his passion for this and his willingness to listen to customers, THP included. And I appreciate the choices they make to never sacrifice quality.
I’ve seen a few of these bags in person and they do feel like they are quality.

You gonna pretend you haven’t done it?
Queued up and ready to watch this one.
I want to do an entire episode with Rod of “Customer states…” lmao
Ooooooh this is a must listen
Can’t wait to queue this one up later after golf!
oh yeah! Rod in the house. Firing it up now.
It’s always interesting when Rod posts about some damage that the airlines has done. And yeah, I know for all the bags that get shipped that the amount of damage that is actually seen is small, but man does handing your golf bag over to airline employees bring a fear with it.
Also @Canadan I don’t actually need as many balls in my bag as I pack, but man it just makes me feel better having them and not needing them and saving myself from the fear of not having enough and being embarrassed.
Can’t wait to see the sales coming. CaddyDaddy makes such good products.

lmao! I love the pain.
Good listen. My Bag Boy travel bag had some questionable damage a few months ago. It held strong and as bad as the damage was, it protected my clubs. Bag is not totaled and I’ll continue to use it.
Fantastic listen!! I couldn’t stop agreeing with the “talking bags” part of the convo. There is nothing I hate more. And it happens way more often than it should.
Rod is great. Really enjoyed this one.
I love the no nonsense of CaddyDaddy knowing what they are amazing at, and refining that instead of getting too far away from that like making out there colors just to stand out.
But I also love that they take suggestions all the time if they didn’t think of them, like the clip in the valuables pocket for keys and such. Just an all around fantastic company that treats their customers incredibly well!
As Bruce Lee said – "I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times."
It's better to be really, really good at one thing, than to be mediocre at a bunch of things.
