Off Course is back this week with a fantastic show. Hosted by Dan Edwards, each Friday he gives you a deep look into the world of golf and equipment in a way unlike any other podcast has done before. Today, THP Staff Writer Dean joins the show and with Black Friday directly in the rearview mirror by a week, it gets some fun dialogue.
It wouldn’t be Off Course without some tangents, but Dan and Dean talk about the madness that is Black Friday and the ridiculous memories of golfers. This show has a lot going on and is one you will not want to miss as the Dean of THP goes Off Course.
Episode 135 is here and Dan and Dean discuss the following topics.
Black Friday Madness
Golfers’ Ridiculous Memories
Diverse Rangefinder Options
How Do You Driving Range
And so much more

Putting this one to listen on the way to work.
The b1g1 on golf bags was a little ? but cool if 2 people went half on a bag and got 2.
Black quail had some crazy sale shirts on sale plus an extra 35 percent.
I think I am starting to become a convert!
In all seriousness – love the chat about the kids and getting them hyped to play golf. Reminded me of the first few times I got out there with my son, and playing putting games in the living room with him when he was little. Good stuff.

Im with @jdtox in the no range after the round.
Real practice is only for days I don’t play. If I have more time to "kill" before my tee time, then I’m spending more time chipping and putting.
I’ve never tried the post round range session.
you should have heard him before…this one was tame
Also rangefinders are dated
Wiping off the club after each swing is honestly something I need to do when on the range. I have a bad habit of just firing shot after shot rapid fire style, and that isn’t how we actually play a round, so why would we practice like that? I’m always trying to slow myself down once I get into a rhythm or start focusing on trying to find something specific.
Some of us have to grind to be good.
It’s a weird habit I developed for myself after getting brand new irons one year. I just couldn’t bring myself to destroy the faces and needed something to pace my shots on the range. It’s a good crazy haha
you asked for it…
