Off Course is back this week with a fantastic show. Hosted by Dan Edwards, each Friday he gives you a deep look into the world of golf and equipment in a way unlike any other podcast has done before. Today THP Forum Member and 2021 Grandaddy Participant Neil Javins joins the show to deep dive into going all in on a brand.
It wouldn’t be Off Course without some tangents, but Dan and Neil discuss everything from finding the right amount of golf to brand loyalty that led to a tattoo. This show has a lot going on and is one you will not want to miss as Neil goes Off Course.
Episode 113 is here and Dan and Neil Javins discuss the following topics.
Finding the Right Amount of Golf
Brand Loyalty and Diving All In

Thanks again for everything you do @Canadan
Me..
That Pic, gets me every time…..
@xThor is legit.
On the topic of brand loyalty: I like to at least imagine I am objective and choose brands and equipment with an independent mindset. And yet there are things that move me toward some brands. Good products of course, but also things like having the opportunity to value and connect with the people behind the brand. In the end, it is about the people.
Countdown to quitting time starts now!
I believe it to be entirely accurate hhaaha
It’s so on brand for him, yet still so funny.
I laughed out loud in my car
@xThor is way more lunatic fringe than I am.
Lunatic center of the green
It’s part of his LF charm.
It is awesome. Would love to be able afford as many of one or the other, let alone both. Life goals.
?
I liked his little shoutout
IMO, being brand loyal isnt neccesarly a bad thing, it just depends how you relate to it. If you realize that you have a certain brand affinity and dont take it to a level where everything that your brand of choice makes is perfect and everything else is junk and you would never even consider stooping to trying any other brand; I dont see a problem with it. Its certainly no worse than the self-righteousness of some who claim to not be brand loyal. Either way, do your thing. ????
The fire emoji is orange, and often used as a reaction to a favorable post. Therefore orange is the best. Just like @xThor is the best!
