Thanks for the early drop.
Glad to hear Evolve continues to flourish. Sounds like Ben needs a vacation after the last couple years!
And upcoming drops. ?
The way he talks, it sounds like his ‘vacation’ is creation – where he just gets to unleash on crazy ideas and stretch the potential.
I really dig that.
As @Canadan mentioned bespoke can mean a lot of things. The tying of history to custom products sounds very cool.
thanks buddy!
Me too. I think they’ve got a ton of great potential in what they want to accomplish.
Great to hear about Cal’s progress over the summer. Amazing work, Dan!
When he made mention of that, I really felt something.
Imagine a course taking down a tree, and repurposing that wood for something in the pro shop to sell. It’s SO much beyond what you would typically buy there. Also, the gap between what they can do (between the plastic divot tools to potential repurposing) just shows the depth of their abilities.
Listening to this, I had images in my head of some nice pocket knives I have will really pretty scales on the side and how they would look as a pitch tool. I would love something like that.
Ben has a way of sharing his enthusiasm through audio that is unlike some guests. Its a show that isn’t in your face and then you listen to it and immediately want to hang out with him.
For sure!! fun listen, very much someone that would be awesome to just sit and talk and spitball with.
I got some of all the goodies they do for Ballyhack.
The new multi-tool will be mine, we might need an Off Course one of those.
Also, why do I want the tees they based on that old rug he talked about so much?
I think that’s the biggest mental unlock for me… They are flat out ready to do crazy things, and even with their stacked systems right now are still able to scratch the surface a bit… But to think they are on the ground floor of it has me so excited.
It’s one thing to have a piece of metal with a logo on it. It’s another entirely to have a piece of the course with the logo on it.
And socks, with pink.
I need those. ?
The more we talked about Motion Wool, the more I thought about your shin highs or whatever you call them hahaha

Damascus divot tool would be sick. I think some knife makers have made them but yeah I agree
It is cool seeing them at the Dormie Network clubs. They were also in my club in Nashville. All had the logos on it, which is awesome.
Lol! Easy now! They’re just quarter length! ?
It does not even have to be Damascus, but a folding divot tool with a fancy handle would be awesome..
That’s what I tried to mention to him but had a really hard time getting it across. I like that they have their own presence in a pretty cluttered space (quality not considered of course), to where you see a set up at a course and know before checking the tag/stamps that it’s Evolve. I really really dig that, since the pieces still have such a solid course presence to them.
Yep – same.
I use a Pitchfix tool because I don’t feel like sticking myself, but I’ve always said the quality isn’t what I want it to be. Add a feature like this and I am absolutely fired up about it. Add in the fact that the wood being used comes from the course itself and I am FREAKING out about it.
those are going to be amazing.
@Canadan you got something against Fruit of the Looms Great listen buddy!!
I think I kinda do, yeah ?
I need to get some video up for you guys.
He makes me so proud hahaha – scholarship city.
2. Really appreciate Evolve’s mission
3. It sounds like so much fun from a creative process standpoint to have a client come on and ask "Can we do this?" and then everyone gets to figure to figure out how. That’d be fun.
