Off Course is back this week with a fantastic show and this is episode 230. Hosted by Dan Edwards, each Friday he gives you a deep look into the world of golf and equipment in a way unlike any other podcast has done before. Today, Mike Yagley, Head of Innovation at Cobra Golf joins the show to discuss the forward movement of the 3D printing world in golf.
It wouldn’t be Off Course without some tangents, but Dan and Mike dive into many topics including King Tec and King Tec X irons and where is Cobra focused in the future of innovation. This show has a lot going on and is one you will not want to miss as Mike Yagley goes Off Course.
Episode 230 is here and Dan and Yags discuss the following topics.
Celebrating the Legacy of the Morgan Cup
Forward Movement of the 3D Printing World in Golf
Making Concessions in Design For Other Features
Where is Cobra Focused in the Future with Innovation
King Tec and King Tec X Irons
Has LIMIT3D Set the Bar
And so much more

Been stuck on the couch for 2 days with the flu. Fired this up today on YouTube and it didn’t disappoint. Yags is awesome and really got into the weeds.

feel better, man! Thanks for tuning in.
That was a fantastic listen. Great job @Canadan and @Master Yagley! Love it when Yags talks geeky. I could listen to that for hours. The passion he has for what he does is incredible and easily noticed. Love what Cobra is doing and really look forward to what comes in the future!! The confidence in their equipment is incredible to see. So much good stuff.
Glad to hear some Morgan Cup talk as well and glad to see he’s enjoying the win. Live it up, Paradise is gonna come hungry!
Thanks for the great episode!!
I can’t wait to run this back a second time with video
Great listen on the way to the course today. I’ve played a full bag of Cobra previously and I’d do it again. He’s got me real excited about what’s to come.
Wanted to watch this one instead of listen and it was so worth it! Always awesome to hear @Master Yagley ‘s enthusiasm for people to experience his team’s inventions but it’s better seeing that boyish grin behind it all. And watching him kiss the trophy was the best ?
Great show and great stuff now and in the future for Cobra!
Decided to revisit this one while at the gym tonight. Listening to @Master Yagley talk about the journey of getting Limit3d to market makes me want to sell everything and buy a set immediately.
I’m sure I can make my way around the course with 4-PW. ?
Seriously tho I think I’ve said this here before. I know I’ve talked to friends about it but for tech and club innovation Cobra is the OEM that excites me most. Just straight heat out of them, always.
I’m hoping that Cobra releases OL wedges in a raw finish in 2025.
