Off Course is back this week with a fantastic show. Hosted by Dan Edwards each Friday he gives you a deep look into the world of golf and equipment in a way unlike any other podcast has done before. Episode 70 is here and Dan and David Neville discuss the following topics.
Callaway JAWS Full Toe Wedges
Callaway Epic Super Hybrid
Callaway‘s Year and Progression
And so much more

You’re a gimmick.
It would be an interesting scenario. Complete with entrance music.

In all seriousness, great show today…
Except, I know how THPers vote when it’s not about them hahaha – See: Joggers thread
Which still has not happened by the way..
But fun listen, I loved that you asked him about a super fairway. His answer was interesting. But you gotta think they want to get the mini driver out of Phils hands..
I mean… I’ve got the big guy on the hot seat, may as well see if he’ll tip his hand!!
HOT TAKE QUESTION: Should we say that Phil M. uses triple track, when he really doesn’t use it to align? If I’m not mistaken he uses it with the lines down.
I asked this question to him previously and it really depends on the putt for him. He also uses it off the tee for alignment in spots.
The real question will be whether Phil uses the new Jaws Full Toe or sticks with his namesake wedge!
Sounds like a good one @Canadan, I’ll catch it this evening!
Possibly a little tease for some new things.
Love hearing about the Full Toe and Epic SuperHybrid.
I love my Epic Speed 4 wood. I love my current SuperHybrid. Put them together and make something better? I’ll take two…
If I can keep the versatility of my PM Grind 2.0 and add some full swing capability – that would be amazing.
the only thing I could drive on a bus is a conversation
to the show that ever trends.
We’re so glad you could attend!
Come inside! Come inside!
There behind a glass
stands a real beautiful lass
be careful as you pass.
Move along! Move along!
Come inside, the show’s about to start
guaranteed to blow your head apart
Rest a__ured you’ll get your money’s worth
The greatest show it happens a hell-of-alot.
Thanks, ELP.
You picked an awful pair Joggers are great
In my defense…. ??????
Well the last I will say about it is the brand I recommended is having a summer sale right now
Back to podcast talk. On the way to work I was pulling in as you two were discussing a souped up fairway wood… Never say never huh? Okay Beiber @DNevsCG Way to tease while giving nothing at the same time. It’s like you’ve done this before or something lol
joggerdan?
16 and 21. Yay or nay?
It is an interesting conversation. Right now I am testing the 18 degree and will be hitting the course again later today. If I have the same success with it that I have had the last two times out, I could see myself going with a second one. I could really reconfigure the long side of my bag which sounds fun.
I have always fought hitting fairway woods consistently but I have hit hybrids SO MUCH better so why fight it right? The length of the club(don’t want to say shaft…dang it I just did) is easier to control.
For me, it’s ALL about the 16 this time around.
I want it to redefine the top of bags.
YAY! Two shapes in the bag for two different applications. Would love to see it Cap!
Also in an hour @DNevsCG took me from $400 is out of range for a hybrid to very interested in said hybrid. Great work!!!
You need to find a left handed tip. Then you can adjust it to the 14 you are looking for.
Are you challenging me, sir?
We’ll have to bring in a rules official. Name changes are a bit Patrick Reed-ish.
Hard to beat the ES 4w. Dropped the 3w and added a 7w. Great combination to round out the top end of the bag! Haven’t listened yet, but joggers are an absolute fail. Sorry not sorry. Queuing up shortly.
I’m not even half an hour in and I’m waaay pumped for the super hybrid. I’ve never spent 400 bucks on a golf club, but now I’m considering it. Not saying I’m getting one for sure, but I understand the price now.
Anyone getting selected Tuesday for the Epic Super Hybrid is going to their minds blown if it’s half as good as described. ????
I think it’s perfectly sensible to question pricing, but equally sensible to hear it out. Nevs presented it very well.
