Off Course is back this week with a fantastic show. Hosted by Dan Edwards each Friday he gives you a deep look into the world of golf and equipment in a way unlike any other podcast has done before. Today Dan welcomes THP Forum Member Big Dill (Nick) to discuss a slew of new topics including what it’s like as a new golfer.

He brings coffee gear with him. So any THP experience he gets into and you need AM coffee….always have his room number.

That was a good listen. I didn’t notice the “fish bowl” until [USER=48932]@BigDill[/USER] brought it up. I had to go back and relisten to the podcast to see what he was even talking about. I kinda dig the Canadaniel moniker.

That was such a good episode. [USER=48932]@BigDill[/USER] you are a very good interview! Really enjoyed your perspective, and this was a cool idea for a Podcast. The fact that you are a newer golf that also has other interesting hobbies, it means a lot to hear what you think. I love how many times you re-iterated that we are out on course to have fun, and that you should do things that make golf fun for you. That is SUCH a good attitude toward the game. You have done a LOT in a short time to embrace your game, and appear to have had a blast while doing it.

Some takeaways for me:
-Hogan PTX Pros – loved hearing you talk about how much you like those, and that some day they will be retired and put on the wall. I feel the same way about mine. It was cool to hear you talk about how they helped you grow your game and have stayed with you throughout changes.
-Also loved hearing you going back to One Length. I think you’ll do well with it if you go there.
-Ordering a case of golf balls – this entire approach is hilarious and bold. I’m exactly the sort of person that would love to see what a case of golf balls looks like. Well done.
-Loved the grass discussion. We’ve got to get you on some bent grass soon.

It the name of the grass ?. It gets its name from its rootsshallow roots which bend and spread out laterally below the surface.
