Off Course is back this week with a fantastic show. Hosted by Dan Edwards each Friday he gives you a deep look into the world of golf and equipment in a way unlike any other podcast has done before. Today Dan welcomes the amazing Noelle Zavaleta to the show to discuss a slew of topics including Srixon and Brooks Koepka together.
It wouldn’t be Off Course without some tangents, but Noelle joins the show to talk all about Srixon growth including the Divide golf ball and so much more. This show has a lot going on and it is an episode you will not want to miss as one of our favorite guests Noelle goes Off Course.

Episode 98 is here and Dan and Noelle discuss the following topics.
Srixon Golf Balls
Divide and Golf Ball Alignment
Asics and Why You Should Be Paying Attention
Srixon and Brooks, Hideki, Shane Oh My!
And so much more

Good episode. It is always fun to listen to OEM’s gush about their products and the long process it takes to get to market. The fact that so many golf balls are sold out is very interesting.
Enjoyed this episode. A lot of buzz with the latest release in irons, but the ZX5 were squarely on my interest list last year so intrigued to see what they come up with next.
Listened on the way home, I always enjoy Noelle coming from a marketing manager POV. I’ve got to admit I have not been keen to try the divides… but the worse my eyes get, it makes me wonder if they could help out. Especially with the point about just turning the ball down on the tee

I’ve always thought the Divide was just a cool ball you could have fun with. Never thought about using Divide for practice only then using white ball for game play. Its actually kind of brilliant really and now makes total sense why they brought Divide to the Z-Star line.

The practice piece of the divide doesn’t get talked about enough. Glad it came up on another great episode.

In case anyone calls BS on the Cal thing, I took a picture last time we were at the store. It was the second time he’s been like that hahahaha

Cal wants to play a better ball ????.

It’s interesting when you think back over the last decade or so. Srixon was the first company to do a yellow urethane covered ball. I believe it was Gmac that put it in play at the Masters Par 3 contest too. They were kind of mocked for it online and now every single company in golf has gone that route.

The Srixon Yellow is still the best yellow.
Hearing purple and black got a visual reaction out of me. I’m just not sure there’s enough of a difference there. But really cool to hear they looked at a bunch of different options.

But Purple & Yellow could be a thing.

… because I am a fan of the diamond and it not offered in divide… yet.. here’s hoping though.

I mean, when you sell out of all the Divides for the second year in a row, and all the Diamonds on release, how could you not! And you are right, they really do stand out in the store. The packaging is really good.

I am guessing sold out does not mean home for good. There are some on the shelves locally but I hope that does not mean that’s it.
@Canadan another great listen. Had no idea Srixon had a partnership with Asics. Just picked some Asics up and look forward to what else they bring out.

Yes, there are plenty online and in stores right now. I did not interpret as sold out for the year, maybe just for now, until new batches of production get to Srixon. But I don’t how all that works.

I was wondering what was meant. I’m assuming they meant all the inventory they have produced is out for sale and there may be a delay before more it out.
I was listening to it on the way to the PGA Tour SS this morning. They still had plenty of every Srixon model in stock. I got a sleeve of Divides last month and really like them. I almost grabbed a couple of dozen just in case they would be hard to get later, but decided not to.
