Today, Randy Peitsch joins the show to discuss incorporating Lamkin technologies and the potential it brings to Super Stroke.

Episode 310 is here and Dan and Randy discuss the following topics and a whole lot more.
Randy’s background in retail
Managing the right amount of options for all golfers
The durability challenges of polyurethane
Incorporating Lamkin technologies into swing grips, and what could potentially come elsewhere
Having fun with limited releases
And so much more

Heading to the course soon, I know what’s going on for the ride.
This was a really enjoyable listen and Randy is super engaging.
That entire segment on the options and how to make enough and not too many was pretty fascinating.
Interesting that Randy says that the Midsize grip is the new regular, especially after hearing Jason from Kinetixx say larger grips are detrimental.
Will be interested in what SuperStroke is coming out with next year that Randy says is revolutionary for sizing swing grips.
Full morning today at work but planning on leaving around 11 to head to the course for a round this afternoon. Will queue it up!
I didn’t really know about the swing grip success on TOUR. I have been a fan of what SS is doing in that regard. Good performance and great price.
Also I need some of the limited editions to come in the Pistol 2.0. I know they are gonna make them in their best selling sizes, but man i’d love some in Pistol 2.0.
Dan uncovering some future plans lol. I like it.
I really enjoy the tech talk with the grip company podcasts!
I’m not going to lie, I went on their website and browsed the REVL grips. I think the element would be something I’d try.
Didn’t know Koivun is all in on these. He’s got the Crossline 2.0 full cord.
Super Stroke feels like they are positioned SO well with how much success they have had with their putter grips, and taking on the momentum of Lamkin tech.
I’m genuinely eager to see what else they come up with.

I meet so many golfers that LOVE every single Lamkin swing grip product. They like X-x-x-x model and sometimes it’s always a different one, which shocks me.
I always feel bad telling them they need to find a replacement because that exact grip is no longer available.
But I’m always surprised how loyal people are to Lamkin grips. Says a lot.

it took a LOT for me not to talk about the Iomic collab with Randy hahaha – iLine for life!
A new line for 2027? This is interesting.
Interesting that they were suprised by REVL
Can’t keep the putter Clark won with in stock? Thats wild.
Custom putter grip for RORS. Very freaking cool.
Pretty wild how much he is saying Tour influences purchases.
I’ve really enjoyed the SS Crossline 2.0 grips, they’ve been my go to for re-gripping this year. They are also 6 bucks a piece so fantastic value as well.

Just finished this part when I got to work. That is awesome. People buying that many many themselves is a bit weirder 😂😂 for the people buying, not for SS

It makes a lot of sense, I think. When your logo is front and center on the green, and as visual as SS grips are, people are going to naturally lean toward them when purchasing, right?

Yeah of course. I assume everyone knows what a SS putter grip is, but as mentioned not many know about standard grips.

was a great segment that, to get a bt of tease about what’s coming, and the thoughts behind the move, including taking on that risk, was good dialoge
This was a great listen on the way to and from the course this morning. The tease about what’s coming next year is really interesting, I look forward to finding out more.
My next regrip I’m going to try REVL after this episode. Element 4X could be my jam.
Curious what else they’ve got in the works. That was a good listen. I find the putter grips feel better after a little rub-a-dub with a Scotchbrite pad.

I think you are going to like that
Started this on the way home today. Very good so far. Interested to learn more about the Revl (sp?) grips. I still have the Lamkin sonar tour and just love the feel of those grips. If they have anything like those I’m all in.
Another great listen. I want to try REVL even more now. The surge in orders examples from recognition and success on course are so interesting … like 1200 custom grip orders after people see RORS.
I like the comment about bigger in wedges. Need to test that soon.
Great episode and great listen here!
Bump for Saturday morning grip lovers.
REVL Comfort will be my go to grip going forward I think. Availability is great and the Midsize feel super comfortable and stable.
Great episode. I had no idea Super Stroke offered customization. Also really cool the CEO is an Auburn alumni.

Me neither! But we need to buy from retailers and not directly from them…

I agree on supporting locally owned businesses.
I wonder what their most popular swing grip is now?

If only we had those instead of the big chain. Grips are hard to get from other places than the big box or online retailers. Neither option supports a local business. I’ll rater shop at Worldwide or wait to order to a friends house in the US.
Still curious and excited to see where they go with putter grips next year.
Any speculation or wants from folks?
great episode, thanks for doing this one @Canadan
i was very worried when Super Stroke bought Lamkin, but the REVL Element has picked things up so nicely. absolutely love those grips and it’s great to hear some of the stories behind their efforts and what’s on the horizon. very intriqued by the sizing system for swing grips!
I just ordered some revl element grips last week. Had not even listened to this yet. Lol

The two I snagged have changed my opinion on the Element lineup, the 4X fixed the issues I had with the base models

Good to know… I’m going this route when I regrip
I would love a revl element in all white. I know white grips are sometimes popular and sometimes not. But I like them and would love a cord white grip.
I would also love a a cord super stroke putter grip. I know it seems like a wild idea. But I think it could/would work.
