Off Course is back this week with a fantastic show and this is episode 243. Hosted by Dan Edwards, each Friday he gives you a deep look into the world of golf and equipment in a way unlike any other podcast has done before. Today, Josh Babbitt from THP joins the show to discuss new products and some of the cool events coming to THP.
It wouldn’t be Off Course without some tangents, but Dan and Josh dive into many topics including how 2025 golf equipment stacks up over previous years and how can data help his game. This show has a lot going on and is one you will not want to miss as Josh Babbitt goes Off Course.

Episode 243 is here and Dan and Josh discuss the following topics.
The 2025 World of Golf Equipment
Titleist Ball Fitting
Who is Srixon
Dan Taking a Data Challenge
Can Dan Get Lessons
And so much more
You can listen to the show right here, Apple Podcasts or anywhere you do your listening and downloading from. Search for the Hackers Paradise and make sure to subscribe so you never miss an episode. After listening, come back over and drop us a note below on what you agree and/or disagree with from the episode. If you get a chance, drop us a review wherever you listen from and let others know what you think of the show and/or channel.
Off course is now available in video as well. Tune into the THPGolf YouTube Channel and jump into the video and watch the interaction rather than just listen between Dan and his guests each week.

Finishing up and I would love to follow the @Canadan journey through GolfTec. Would be great to hear/read about the journey.

I’m really into it, honestly. I’ve found a couple things recently that seem to be getting my driver swing back on track and a bit of distance back on my irons, but lessons and an open range will be critical to getting my game where I want it before the end of this season.
Big.
Plans.

Absolutely love hearing it!
Why am I just seeing this? What is wrong with me?

Love to hear the openness to it. If you end up going through with it, would love to hear your predictions for what you think needs changed and what the result of a swing eval says.
Great episode! What JB said about OEM reps exhibiting excitement about their products resonated with me…Genuine enthusiasm from OEM reps gets me more excited about products too.
Great listen today.
Late to comment, but I’d love to see @Canadan do the GolfTec journey. And combining that with ShotScope this year, you’ll learn more about your game than in years. So I sincerely hope you do both and we get to follow along.
Always nice to have @JB on too.

So you’re comfortable now with tracking? You’re a degenerate and remember every swing, ball flight and result, but I’ve found the tracking really helps me relive and recap rounds afterwards.

You have the V5 right? So we’ll see you in that thread getting comfortable 😀 I’m sure I’ll forget tagging like the first 10 shots with my H4 once I get back out. But it’s worth it.
