Off Course is back this week with a fantastic show and this is episode 278. Hosted by Dan Edwards, each Friday he gives you a deep look into the world of golf and equipment in a way unlike any other podcast has done before. Today, Founders and Partners of Turtleson, Greg and Chet, join the show in a unique conversation about refining years of apparel into the brand and creating and maintaining an identity.
It wouldn’t be Off Course without some tangents, but Dan, Greg and Chet dive into many topics including the material difference and durability as well as the Standwell collar and what makes it unique. This show has a lot going on and is one you will not want to miss as Turtleson goes Off Course.

Episode 278 is here and Dan, Greg and Chet discuss the following topics and a whole lot more.
Refining Years of Apparel into Turtleson
Creating and Maintaining an Identity
Material Difference and Durability
The Standwell Collar
Chasing Trends and Looking to the Future
And so much more

I had to look up what on earth a bacon collar was…can’t say I’ve had a shirt that has had that happen. This collar though sounds fantastic
Color trends are crazy and how early they happen is just nuts
I will never be wearing pleated baggy pants. I refuse to believe that is coming back
As always, fantastic episode!

Same ??
Agreed. I always assumed it was European or somewhere similar fancy. No offense Bristol, TN
Well I was on a hoodie hiatus but now I really want a bellfield hoodie.
The collar talk is really intriguing
My latest AP Puma has a bacon collar…..guess I will be ironing it
Apologies for being late to the party but I listened to this one this morning on the drive in and really enjoyed it.
– I appreciate how Dan describes his opinion on apparel and how it is a reflection of him. Agreed completely
– I appreciate the attention to detail to the material being used
– I appreciate how they have awareness to all seasons
– I wish I had a real understanding of how this stuff is made haha gonna spend some time looking into that. The way apparel brands speak to the threads, materials and how theyre used to make a shirt intrigues me
I think this is a great opportunity for me to just pick up a shirt and see how it works for me. I love the details around the collar and the focus of them around that

My club carries them in the pro shop, and I have added several polos over the last year. It’s very high-quality stuff and I know you would like it.
Don’t know who needs to hear it but as someone who grew up on Colombia and north face fleeces, this Steele fleece is stupid good.

This podcast exposed me to a brand I wasn’t really familiar with at all, and quickly might have just become my favorite polo after just a few wears.
Craziness, and thank you
