Nice to hear from Zack again and this was a fun interview.
I have been a huge fan, then very much critical of ClubGlider over the years due to having gone through 3-4 of them in a single season due to tears and leg issues. I am told that ClubGlider3 is much better and hope to give it a try soon.
Good for Zack!

It’s been on my radar for my next travel cover, since I need to move it around airports quite a bit. But the negative reviews have kept me from pulling the trigger. I need to listen to Zack soon and see what’s what from their perspective.

For which part? Going to Sun Mountain or part of the show?

Both! Love seeing someone make a career move that they believe is best for them especially young families, then to be on here? Big time!
This was a fun conversation. The ballistic nylon bags look good.
I reviewed the ClubGlider3 and it’s a pretty solid piece of gear. I traveled with it recently and was very impressed with the ease of navigating around with it.
I regret not talking about the Chargers more.

A little tease on baseball collab? Tell me more. That Marucci bag was a dream bag for me.
Tuning in – great to see Zack!
That new E series does look really nice. I’m ready to move back to a smaller bag I think.
I love that he’s there now, their stuff is going to improve so much.
Excited to dive into this one!
The E series does look great. That E3.5 especailly.
Really good conversation and timing with the new release! Exciting to see Sun Mountain making changes. They were THE bag when I was growing up but haven’t really even considered them recently
Never really thought about the different materials. Different options for different bags makes a ton of sense. Also Ballistic Nylon sounds pretty damn cool
No mamma Oakley check in.. missed opportunity to ask about a legend.
I like this one.

Great interview with Zach, glad to see him at Sun Mountain and really do hope to see some improvements in the durability of the bags. I really like the gliding capability of the bags, seems like such a useful feature
A very nice, well spoken guy. Sun Mountain will be better because of him. I’ll check give jt a listen soon.
Love to hear about them focusing a bit on their roots. They were a powerhouse before they were sold. I’m sure they still are, but they seemed to me, that they lost their way a bit.

durability should ALWAYS be the first talking point of bag construction, in my opinion.
Always always always, will they hate using it after a month.
Love this. Will listen on the way home. I don’t always listen to podcasts, but when i do, it’s @Canadan (I actually really like my Sirius radio and either listen to the music or something like PGA Tour Radio or the NHL network. The car is the most logical place for me to listen to podcasts and I have a process to go through to listen to podcasts in my 2015 car.
Love Oakley and happy to hear about the developments at Sun Mountain. Nothing but good things to say about my old SM bags or our club glider travel bag.
Looking forward to watching this one, and congratulations to Zack!
Loved hearing from Zach and happy to hear him enjoying the new role.
Sounds like some fun stuff coming down the pipeline. This waxed canvas stand band is awesome:

Apparently you’re familiar?
Enjoyed the episode and happy to see that Zack is thriving at the new gig. Had always viewed Sun Mountain as kind of a pillar in the bag game, I guess kind of a measuring stick so to speak. Looks and sounds like the new management team is pushing quite a bit and when I’m in the market for a new bag, will definitely be one of the first places I look.
Well done as always @Canadan

I’ve only been once. They are relatively new overall but it was amazing! Wish I had more time with Zack better during the GDs. I’d ask him to golf next time comes up 😅
So I have this old 4.5ls and love how the pocket setup is. Wish bags would have 3 pockets like this one does, really feel like I can organize better than just the 2 that come normal now.

He’s a great guy, and was unbelievably helpful in ’24. He’s the reason that I have my UW in the bag haha.
Love my C130H VLO and great to see Zack over here! Good things coming!
I finally got a chance to watch this one today and I came away really impressed. Kudos to Zack being able to articulate exactly what Sun Mountain’s vision is and how they get back to where they were. I really like all the bags are assembled in the USA and the quality control is a plus.
As someone who is looking for a new stand bag, Sun Mountain is at the top to check out.
Well done @Canadan and I really enjoy these conversations you are having.
Enjoyed the pod and hope Zack is loving the new gig! He seems to be doing well!
