Get ready for the introduction to PUMA MATTR apparel.
PUMA Golf is getting read to introduce its most hi-tech collection of shirts they have ever created. They call the line MATTR which stands for MATerials, Technology, Research.
PUMA MATTR is a hi-tech, moisture-wicking and fast-drying fabric that is also extremely breathable with a stretch design. It is light weight and perfect for year round wear with a classic golf style.
“Our MATTR fabric is all about performance; this polo is what you reach for when you need to eliminate distractions, stay cool, calm and collected, and be ready to perform your best. MATTR delivers a ton of stretch for freedom of movement and enhanced breathability, keeping players cool on a hot day so they can focus on playing well and enjoying the game.” said Chris MacNeill, Senior Product Line Manager, PUMA Golf.
The new 2021 PUMA MATTR Collection ranges from $65-$75 for men, $45-$55 for women and $45 for juniors. All styles will be available at pumagolf.com or select retail locations very soon, with additional drops and colors coming later this Spring and Summer.
Based on the last release of CloudSpun from PUMA Golf, those on the THP Forum will be clamoring to hear more about this new collection. Jump into the conversation below.
Perfect colors for the 2021 morgan cup!
On a serious note great style and upping the ante yet again!
This is a very nice looking polo.
I really need to get on it and lose some….girth.
Agreed. ?
It’s a different feel like I said previously. A bit more technical. The quality is the closest I have seen from a major brand to Straight Down yet though.
This excites me. Big fan of the tech materials.
The shirt is awesome and looks great in person. It will be my go-to summer shirt. The material is really soft but still has a tech feel and look. I love it.

Wow I love those! Looks great!
Neck shield too small.
Shirt is awesome.
I think it was this one and it’s all sold out in that color. I may have looked for it today too lol
If it makes you feel any better, I bought a Vessel Player III bag today because of @X.Man. So you got off cheap I think.
The puma detail pattern is great, and it’s super comfortable.
I definitely got off cheap Pretty excited to get it!
Was a bit bummed when I saw it was completely sold out. Looked great on TV!
Upon further review his has a black puma on right side chest. Not sure this is it. It’s pink, has black in armpit area, idk..
How does it compare to CloudSpun?
Thanks for breaking down sizing and comparing to Mission
I’m out of town right now so I can’t check side by side until tomorrow. But from my brief interaction with both, I would say that the cloudspun is a bit softer, almost like you would expect from something cotton based, and the MATTR is a bit more tech feeling, if that makes sense. More of a higher quality shirt that would be similar to what you expect from a golf shirt, but softer.
Pretty sure it’s the same shirt. I think most of the Puma tour stuff has larger logos than the retail versions, so they probably changed the color of the cat logo to black to stand out more on tv.
That’s my theory, anyways….
Which models? My first one (the Roar) will be delivered this week.
Hazard in Grey with our Tiger on it.
@JB was right on Off Course with @Canadan, PUMA is doing fun patterns RIGHT, right now!

The MATTR shirts are
and fit mattr’s.. lol..
MATTR polos are superior to Cloudspun. That is all.
MATTR > Cloudspun
Yeah, I said it.
Nope. Not crazy. MATTR polos are the best they’ve ever made. Love the CS in fall or spring, but no go in summer for me, these are year round sweet.
But, CS is king when it comes to outerwear.
You convinced me to order two more
Hahaha! YUSSSSSS! Which ones????
