PUMA is turning back the clock with their latest streetwear-inspired golf shoe, the TEVERIS G.
“The TEVERIS G is a lifestyle shoe we drafted from the early 2000s,” said Mike Diaz, Marketing Director, Puma Golf. “That era is trending in fashion, and we wanted to deliver a nostalgic, retro shoe for the modern golfer.”

As Mike Diaz mentioned, the TEVERIS G is a throwback design to PUMA’s running shoes from the early 2000s. Looking at the images brings back the nostalgia of browsing the latest Eastbay catalog with friends during the 6th-period study hall. As someone who enjoyed the final years of high school during that time frame, these shoes definitely capture the essence of that era.
TEVERIS G uses NITRO foam to offer a lightweight feel, excellent cushioning, and a responsive stride. Puma fans will recognize this is the same foam used in their Alphacat and Phantomcat golf shoes. For materials, PUMA has used a mesh upper to enhance breathability and topped it off with the iconic PUMA formstrip made of suede, with synthetic leather underlays to add a more modern styling profile. As expected, the outsole has been redesigned for optimal traction on the course and functionality off the course.

PUMA is offering the TEVERIS G model in five different colors: Puma White / Vapor Gray / Vine, Blue Horizon / Feather Gray / Warm White, Puma Black / Puma White, Puma White, and Puma White / Puma Silver. The available sizing ranges from 7 to 13, 14, and 15 in traditional men’s sizing. Since this shoe is designed as a unisex option, women looking to purchase should order 1.5 sizes down from their usual size.
TEVERIS G is now available on pumagolf.com for $110.
Wow I really like that. Any word on the traction these provide?
Ewww lol
Not gonna lie. The first picture reminded me of every tennis shoe my 74 year old dad currently wears. They may be comfortable and really good, but they don’t pass the eye test for me initially. I like Puma shoes for the most part, but these might be a pass.
These look sweet! Dig the look of em
These are very cool IMO
Dad shoes for Father’s Day.
Not bad.
Probably not something I would wear but look like old running shoes I once owned.
If these are as comfortable as they look, they will get my attention, even though I’m not in the market at the moment
Not a fan of Puma footwear, but I don’t mind those.
That’s a no for me – maybe it’s the all white color way in the pics.

Available in 5 colors according to the website. Still they don’t do much for me.
Not sold on the looks but they look comfortable. How tall are those soles?
I like these. However, I would need wide width.
It’s a no for me. I just can’t do the chunky dad shoes. It’s something that’s just never clicked for me.
Not my cup of tea. The white/green combo looks best to me though.
I freaking like the ones with blue accents.
I like and hate these at the same time. I definitely want to go mow my lawn looking at these though.
I want to like them. And the on foot picture makes them look A LOT better than they do on their own. But not sure they are my style
That’s a no for me. I’m not nostalgic about any of that.

Yeah those are the ones.
I love me a Puma Golf shoe but I’m out on the mall walkers.
I’m always checking for new Puma golf shoes but these are a big no for me. That sole is too chunky.
I like the white and blue ones. pretty slick looking.

Ah, you’ve never seen a legit pair of orthotics then. These are more “dad shoe” than orthotics, but I get where you are coming from.
Wait…. “early 2000’s” is now officially “turning back the clock?” ?

Us looking back on 2001 from today is like someone in 2001 looking back to 1978.
These are the very rare swing and a miss from Puma on shoes for me

I’m a dad, and soon to be grandad, and that’s a hard no.
Do they come with a velcro lace option? Not a fan.

Well that just makes me feel old. I graduated high school in 2001.
I LOVE Puma shoes, but not ALL of them for sure!
I like these.
I like the price point, but I think I’ll need a different colorway before I pull the trigger
Ehh. Think I’ll need to see other color ways
