Agreed. It doesn’t make sense to NOT have the good stuff, since it will sell here.

Unfortunately this doesn’t seem isolate (based on others feedback). Planning to pick the brain of the Cobra team this summer.

Somebody may have run across one today:

Awesome John… Where and How’d you hit it?
If I tell you you might go snag it before I get back 😜
I found it at Golfdom, saw it after I spent some time hitting the Optm X and K. I hit it fairly well given that haven’t swung anything longer than a wedge in weeks. Definitely tested out a good portion of the face.

I wonder how much it is based on the seller vs anything Cobra can do to get the product out there?

I can guarantee you it’s all data driven. They aren’t sending fitting carts or heads everywhere due to cost and are going to prioritize accounts they know sell well
I asked at GG yesterday about the 3DPX and they said they didn’t have any 3DP at all for demo. 🙁
One final bump before closing!!!

The 3DP irons are 3300$ CAD (and whatever that is in USD). I totally agree that for many big box stores there is likely a data driven approach that having a lot of stock , and fitting heads is a cost adder. If you are a public company too, floating that much inventory in the channel that could get returned probably is a bit of a risk also.
They are beautiful clubs but a bit on the expensive side still.
While we love them here which makes sense, i would guess i won’t see these out in the wild much in 2026 and Cobra knows that just due to the economics

I totally understand carrying a lot of inventory for retail – just curious why they aren’t more available for fittings. Wouldn’t you want to get these clubs in the hands of more fitters (and possible customers)?
And to your point on expense, it’s going to be harder for someone to drop that much $$$ without having an opportunity to hit them.

I thought the look feel and sound of the driver was amazing

Feel the same way. I really like the driver a lot.

I’ll be heading to the local Club Champion as they will have all the shaft options and heads.
Backup plan is GolfTec.

I have not, I went to the GG near me. The PGA ss is the other side of town.
Good luck to everyone who entered. Now the waiting starts to see who of us is lucky enough to get picked for this amazing experience

Plenty of people here would drop the money for the the 3DP irons. I know that to be true based on the bags I see here. People want good stuff and are willing to go for it, but if it is not available, they don’t know about it since they are not like us and don’t know it is an option.

I’m pretty sure it’s up to each place to purchase the fitting heads. I know up here our local shop doesn’t expect to sell any of the 3D line so they didn’t purchase any fitting heads. I was surprised to learn that they had to purchase whatever they want to have in each of the fitting carts
