There comes a point in time with every project in the world that you reach a point where there is a fork in the road and you must choose which way to go. The Hackers Paradise has been on a huge ride over the last 12 months and we finally reached that fork. We think that we have something incredibly special and unique on our hands and want to take it to the next level. For us that next level is developing a new way for our ideas, products, and the companies we work with to get into the consumers’ thoughts and hands.
Keep your eyes peeled on the forums over the course of the next month and we will be delivering the news there first. We think all of our readers will be as excited as we are when we can officially announce this to everybody.
I for one am excited to see how and where you plan to take THP. Best of luck on the planning and execution to take THP to the next level!!
Sounds like you’ve decided to take Yogi Berra’s advice – “When you get to a fork in the road – take it.”
I’m sure it will be a fun change. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
Breathless with anticipation!
I know it will be great!
Looking forward to it.
Does it involve forum members paying money?
Fred,
No it does not.
If it doesn’t involve forum members paying money, what does “we will not be charging much for our members of the forum” mean?
Fred,
How in the world is a magazine something that “costs forum members”? Nobody has to buy our print publication if they choose not to.
Fred,
The magazine is something that is for consumers. If a forum member would like to purchase a magazine they are more then welcome to and we would offer it at a discounted rate. There is no obligation by anyone to purchase a subscription. Besides, this issues is just about sold out anyhow. The only thing we want from our forum members is to enjoy our site and have a great time chatting about golf and life.

Hey Fred, if you read the part of the sentence before what you quoted, you will find that JB said that forum members get the first chance at getting a subscription to the magazine. The way I read it is forum members will get a break on the price.
Anyone out to cause trouble can read anything they want into something and look like an ass while doing it. No one has to buy anything if they don’t want to, forum member or not. Why is this so hard to get through to you?
if you already have a website, why kill more trees for a magazine? just for advertisement revenue? are you saying there will articles/reviews in the magazine not on the site? hardly.
The magazine will be something different from the site. It is not about our daily content and reviews and will offer a different look for the readers that would like to try it.
