Tale Of A Hacker

So you have been bitten by the bug. You picked up the game later in life and you laugh at yourself because until now you were a previous hater who never understood why people LOVE this game so much. To you and me this is more than a game. its solitude, its friendship, its passion, its gamesmanship, its mulligans, its beers at the turn, its business, its making fun of friends who leave 3 foot putts short for birdies, its therapeutic, its humbling, its family, its still your turn as you scold your sand wedge 50 yards over the green, Lord knows its expensive, and most importantly its something you will do for the rest of your life.

Hi, I am James A and I will be writing from time to time from the standpoint of the serious but yet unaccomplished golfer. So now you’re asking yourself am I an unaccomplished golfer? Let’s put it in perspective, Accomplished: (1) you show up at any golf course by yourself on Labor Day and feel completely comfortable knowing that you will have no problems being put into a foursome with three complete strangers. Unaccomplished: (1) you show up at any golf course by yourself on Labor Day and feel completely comfortable knowing that you going to hit a bucket of balls and return home before the range gets crowded for the annual family cookout. If your game falls in the latter category I think you’ll enjoy my commentary, outlook, and pointers on the game that everyone should play.
