The NFL is a machine.
We have all seen that person, maybe you are that person, that shows up to play with the full NY Giants golf bag, complete with matching head covers. If the NFL gets one thing right, its creating passion amongst their fans. It has spread to golf over the years with multiple companies offering NFL themed goods through licensing.
Late last year we shared the news that Wilson Golf was continuing their popular line of NFL golf bags and balls. If you missed that story on THP, you can find it here. Today they are not alone in the world of NFL golf balls as TaylorMade has officially announced their new NFL licensing agreement.

“Our collaboration with the NFL makes complete sense for TaylorMade. As golf’s highest performing, widest reaching, and most innovative brand, we realize the significant crossover of our core golfers’ passion for both golf and the NFL. Being able to further engage with them on a high level across both sports is a win-win for everyone involved. TaylorMade couldn’t be more excited about what the future holds in concert with the NFL brand and its millions of fans around the world.”
John Gonsalves, TaylorMade Vice President of Direct to Consumer
Are you a golfer that brings their NFL passion to the golf course? What are your favorite team items? More apparel driven or bags and balls typically?
The Details
Coinciding with the 2025 NFL Draft, both SpeedSoft Ink and TP5 and TP5x MySymbol NFL golf balls will be available for purchase on April 24 at TaylorMadeGolf.com. SpeedSoft Ink NFL golf balls will sell for $34.99 USD per dozen and TP5 and TP5x MySymbol NFL golf balls will be available for $64.99 USD per dozen.
Do not expect this to be the last of this licensing deal. The company has plans to expand its TaylorMade NFL collection as we get closer to NFL season.
That’s pretty fricken cool, I really hope we see titleist or callaway get into the licensing of sports teams a bit more, but I’m sure it’s costly.
I think the balls look pretty cool. It is amazing the colour and detail they can print on a non-flat item (ball).
These are top notch especially come start of season. Would be a fun way to choose game winners if they sold specialty ones with all the teams then play the buddies for bets using the two balls associated with games that week a hole deciding winners or some other sort of game combining the two.
I’m seeing more and more licensing deals with the NFL. More options are a good thing.
I think licensing deals with the NFL is definitely a plus given the popularity of football.
Those are busy, but they look awesome. I’ll probably pick up a dozen Ravens just for fun. I’m excited to see what they do in the headcover space. I think Taylormade is the top oem in creativity for limited headcovers.
That’s fun
I think licensing deals are awesome, but man these golf balls have more work than JLo.
Those look cool, but they might be hard to find in tall grass.
This can’t be true, can it??

Gotta admit though, some of those balls look real good. Especially for a display rack.
Very cool and they will sell. I know a couple dozen guys at my club that will be buyers of the Packer or Viking ones. We already have that many NFL logo golf bags at the club. One of my best friends named his company Viking Computer Parts and I’m guilty of showing my team bias even on my wedges.

Probably not, but its subjective I guess.
I like options, so it’s a good thing.
These balls look super busy though. Not real appealing to me to be honest.
I like it, just not $65 a dozen for the TP5 line
The volleyballs look fun and $36 not bad but can’t see paying $65 for a dozen TP5 balls just because they have a team logo on them
Like the collab but don’t like the ball. Options are fun though, so glad to see TM pushing it out there as an option.
I like the idea but $65 for TP5’s because they have a team logo on them is a touch much.

Agree rather busy looking from address, but just might have to get a dozen of Tampa Bay.
Im a huge NFL fan and love all three major sports but I have never wanted any licensed gear. Not sure why, just never appealed to me. Im sure there are some who will love it
$65 ? I’m out.
I hate my teams name and logo so that will probably be an issue. Lol
would be fun to see how many you can collect finding them in the wild
No Jets balls in the speedsoft ink 😥
Its ok though, last thing I need to think about in the teebox is the Jets
The speedsoft ink ball has a lot going on. I like the TM stripe alignment aid too much to purchase a TM ball without it.
I’m not an NFL guy and I’m definitely not a speedsoft ink guy but these are going to sell like crazy I’m sure.
The gold balls look good. I don’t know if it’s something I would buy though.
Of course my fandom lies with a team that has a bad color combo and franchise.
I know a lot of golfers that are going to love this. For me, I’m a Chargers fan and have been since I’ve known what football was. Over the years I’ve been gifted Chargers golf “stuff” though the only Chargers items I’ve ever used on a golf course, or in my golf bag, has been ball markers. I’m sure these balls will look great but they’re not for me.
The balls look fun. As expected in the pricing with the NFL partnership.
I remember TM having some sort of NFL Licensing deal in the past, guess I didn’t realize it may have expired. Maybe I’m just thinking of apparel aspect because I know TM did NFL hats back in the day. I clearly knew about the Wilson deal because the guy that wrote that linked article is super handsome but yet awkward. I’m sure the balls will sell, they are usually pretty good as a gift for someone.
$65 for the TP5 is too much. Maybe a one time thing. Wouldn’t become the go-to.
I think these look pretty coo…hopefully they can keep expanding upon it
Pretty cool. Not my thing but pretty cool.
Really cool looking balls, but $65 dozen?

I think I see the busy speedsoft ink ball I’d buy in the big picture but haven’t figured out a way to get to them on the website to order. Want them as gifts during an upcoming get together. If I ‘shop by team’ I only get the TP5 options which don’t have any busy graphics. Anyone figure out how to get anything except the 10 teams shown?
EDIT: NEVERMIND 😡
Why release when you aren’t ready for every team TM?
I wish I liked a team enough to buy them. The inkspeed are incredible
Makes a lot of sense and adds another fun element to the golf ball. Personally not a huge fan of the design as it is a little too busy to look at. $65 is pretty steep and not what I want to pay, but understand with things like licensing fees.
Wow. Nicely done by them These look awesome.
Nice timing with the draft being tonight.
These look cool but I’m not spending an extra $10 to get the Packers logo on the TP5
