The Ryder Cup always has a way of blending tradition with bold statements. The uniforms, the chants, the energy—it is all bigger than a normal week of golf. This year, TaylorMade has decided to bring some of that spirit to the tee box with a special release: the Qi35 Ryder Cup Edition Driver.

A Driver for Your Team
TaylorMade is giving golfers two choices with this release: Team USA or Team Europe. Both carry the same performance DNA as the standard Qi35 driver, but with designs that make it clear where your allegiance lies.

The Team USA head is dressed in dark blue and red with white trim, while the sole carries a detailed map of the United States. Flip the driver over and the face pops in solid red with white score lines and a bold USA mark right in the middle. The shaft, a Fujikura Airspeeder 50, is finished in white with red and blue print. Even the headcover brings the theme home, stitched with an American flag and wrapped in red, white, and blue.

On the other side, Team Europe gets its own standout look. A royal blue face and sole contrast with a gold crown, and the map of Europe is stamped proudly on the bottom. Silver and blue score lines frame the face, while the matching Fujikura Airspeeder shaft comes in blue with gold and white print. The Europe headcover follows suit with blue and gold as its base, paired with silver Qi35 and Metal T logos.
Built on the Qi35 Platform
The Ryder Cup graphics are the fun part, but underneath, this is still a Qi35 driver. That means golfers get the same near zero center of gravity projection and very high MOI that make the club stable and forgiving. The multi-material construction blends chromium, steel, aluminum, tungsten, and titanium to create a head that is as strong as it is sleek.
TaylorMade has also packed in its full suite of modern technologies. The fourth generation Carbon Twist Face helps energy transfer across more of the hitting area while offering some alignment benefits at address. The Thru-Slot Speed Pocket, adjustable loft sleeve, and high inertia shape work together to keep ball speed and spin consistent, even when contact is not perfect. Add in the Trajectory Adjustment System with two moveable weights and there is room to dial in both shot shape and spin.
Available Options – Qi35 Ryder Cup Edition
Both Team USA and Team Europe versions of the Qi35 Ryder Cup Edition Driver come in right-handed 9.0 and 10.5 degrees of loft at 460cc. Length is set at 45.75 inches with a D3 swing weight. Each includes a Golf Pride Z-Grip that ties into the theme —black and red for USA, black and gold for Europe.

Final Thoughts – Qi35 Ryder Cup Edition
The Ryder Cup only comes once every two years, but the conversations and memories last much longer. TaylorMade’s Ryder Cup Edition Qi35 captures that same energy in a driver built for real performance. It is not just about owning a limited design. It is about taking it to the course and showing your colors every time you tee it up.
Qi35 Ryder Cup drivers are priced at $649.99 USD and will be available on their website taylormadegolf.com.

I’m definitely not a fan of the crown color. That gold doesn’t do it for me. However, I do like the blue sole with the map of Europe.
got the early access email yesterday and was pretty underwhelmed with both options
European team driver looks like
Palace of Versailles lol
These are kinda fun. Agree that the Europe driver crown is a bit much, probably would have been better to switch the colors and go blue Crown with the gold bottom. Also not sure how many people care enough to buy Ryder cup drivers at this price, but it’s a fun offering for those that will.
I’d be surprised to see any Ryder Cup player putting a QI 35 in play regardless of colorway. It just isn’t good for most people. I don’t know any decent player that kept one for more than a few weeks.
Oh cool, they made the stealth 3!
Not a fan of either of those.
I really think Taylomade is trying very hard to be the new Wilson. Are they sharing marketing departments?
Probably a narrow market for these.
I’m not a fan of either one as the European driver is not there ugliest driver especially if thats where you are from. Now the USA, Wow is well to me just a ugly as it reminds me of a Spiderman edition and then Oh No No not the ugly red face again

Pretty sure Tommy Fleetwood is playing a Qi35 and is in the Ryder Cup.
The USA one is decent but these do nothing for me.

Yeah. That gold and blue combo is fugly
I like the blue crown on the USA one but could do without the red face. That said not a pick up for me but interesting for sure
Do people really buy these limited edition drivers? I guess they do or the OEM’s would not produce them. These in particular are ugly and loud.

I sure hope they didn’t make very many of them.
Hard pass for me, but I’m kinda getting limited edition drop burnout
Oh wow.
There is…..a lot…..going on there.
Not necessarily in a good way either. Plus, on the core model which is a BIG head, those have got to be a lot to look down at upon setup.
No thanks
I’m very eh on them
Very much dislike the blue crown on the US one but that Europe one is hideous hahaha. I thought the Gold and Platinum ones sucked (well actually they did) but this is a whole new level.
Curious how many of these they will sell. Can’t imagine a lot.
Flippers are going to be real disappointed when they can’t move these.

I don’t think even flippers are stupid enough to try to flip these.
These look awesome, if I was in the market for a new driver, this would totally make me take note!
That’s gonna be a no for me, dawg.
Yikes. Looks like someone tried to create the ugliest driver possible and it came out with the European one. The US is not much better.
US > Europe ??

It is so hideous that I love it.
For once I’m happy that a special edition isn’t available in lefty because I would impulse buy the hell out of the thing.
Anyone else getting strong Spider-Man vibes from the USA one?

If the Qi10 LS would’ve been the driver I fit into last year I would’ve gone with the designer series for the copper old school graphics, but I went into the smoke so yes but no lol
All I see is Spider-Man in the USA edition.

So that’s a yes then?
Does TM have more special editions of their drivers than any other OEM? They also don’t look good at all in my opinion. Between the gold and silver versions, and now these, I really don’t know how big of a market for these there really is

Cobra has to be up there too… this year there has been Arnold Palmer, Palm Tree Crew, Volition, and Masters (“Season Opener”) editions of their drivers. You could also count the long drive version of the DS-Adapt LS as a special edition too really.
Right but when it comes to special edition drivers Cobra does it the best then Callaway
Every time I look at these, I cringe. Not good.

It makes me wonder why I chose my life’s path. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
I could deal with the blue crown on the USA model, but that EU with the gold crown would be tough.
Neither of them are my jam, but hey, more options is a good thing. There might be some people invested enough in the Ryder Cup to buy them. Maybe. :cautious:

I don’t love em but I don’t hate em the way a lot seem to.
1. not for me, but obviously there is a market for them, or they would not keep pumping them out. First the Gold and Platinum versions, now this?
2. My first (split second) thought was “Why did they make a Spiderman and Ironman model. Did I miss a new Marvel announcemnt?
I already stress out about keeping my standard driver in decent shape. I do not think I could game it.

Time to hit the eye doctor perhaps then ??
I dig it.
Geez….I would hate to be the individual who approved these designs, to me they are beyond bad. Going to see a lot of Instagram giveaways on these I am afraid.
I think they look awesome
