TaylorMade TP Black Putters

Taylormade TP Black Putter

Dropping today, the new TaylorMade TP Black Putter Collection. Seven shapes, each done in 303 stainless steel with a darker finish (hence the name).

Each of the models is machine milled and the TP Black putters feature the Pure Roll insert. This insert is done with Surlyn (much like what is used in less expensive golf balls) and was previously used in their Spider X. The insert’s grooves are down at a downward 45 degree angle, to help optimize the roll golfers are seeking on the greens.

Despite TP historically standing for Tour Preferred, the TaylorMade TP Black line of putters will be stock only, no custom offerings. For that, you will probably be looking more towards their TP Reserve or TP Collection lines or any of their many Spider offerings.

Each TP Black putter will feature a KBS 120 Chrome Stepped Shaft and finished with a Lamkin Sink Fit Skinny grip that is black and silver and color and weighs 70g. Left Handed options are available in the models listed below, but come only in 35 inches.
