Today kicks off the 2022 Titleist Experience at Ballyhack Golf Club and you will be able to follow along with the entire trip over the next 3 days right here. 8 THP Forum Members each were fit previously for the brand new Titleist TSR Driver and FW Wood and will be receiving them today.
They will put those in play over the next few days playing this beautiful golf course along with the team from Titleist.
The Itinerary
Tonight: Equipment Party Dinner and meet and greet where the forum members meet the team from Titleist and get their new equipment along with any questions answered. Post dinner we have a fun Bourbon tasting lined up for the group before retiring to the cottages on property.
Tuesday
18 Holes of golf with Titleist and new equipment and then a group dinner to have a bit of an AMA type of session on anything gear related. Just because you are not in attendance, doesn’t mean you can’t get your questions answered. Post your questions below and the group will ask them on Tuesday evening. After dinner we are lighting up the 18th green for some night putting and social time with the group.
Wednesday
18 Holes of Golf in the morning and then a fun lunch with the group post round before everybody departs.
If you love learning about golf and equipment, this thread is your ticket for the next 3 days and we have tons of live posting coming up.
What are your choices, and how are the lines??
Ugh brutal dude!
That 3 wood looks like an absolute beast!
That’s what I had to deal withy last trip. I had to get a pre made sandy. ?
More of a 4w but dude. No joke, it’s a CANNON. I did hit one bad shot with it, but other than that it was absolute money. Pretty good when your first on course shot with a new club is a nearly 270 yard rocket
Nice Zoolander reference
These drivers and fairways are absolutely amazing and I’ll be putting some detailed initial thoughts in the respective threads shortly. But TSR is absolutely going to be game changers for Titleist, I truly believe that.
Oh man that’s horrible!
Advantage lefty depending on hole direction….
But even that is no guarantees, because of the overhanging vegetation
This was incredible. I’m not sure I have the words to describe tbh. Ballyhack will always hold a special place in my heart. You can tell the people really care. Like you go places and you can tell fake smiles but this place truly cares that you are excited and love every minute there. The people I got to share this with were awesome. The titleist people were amazing. You can tell how excited they are for the future for the brand, their players, and the golf community that is rallying to them.
So much uncertainty injury wise months leading up (Even a week before.) and it’s perhaps fitting and truly special moment that when we went out for a few extra holes that the final hole at Ballyhack was a birdie. That ball will be in a special place. You couldn’t ask for better company to spend these few days with. This was my first THP event and I can’t wait for if and when I get another chance at one to maybe see these folks again or meet some more awesome THPers
Thank you THP and Titleist! And of course thank you to Ballyhack!
Also that driver and three wood are absolute fire. Easily out gained my old driver by 30+ yards on longer drives and that wasn’t the best drives.
Good find! Needed 95 yards uphill to clear the junk and 120 to get to the green. Ended up hitting it 90…doh!
Luckily Duffer had his own adventures on the hole and found my ball while climbing up that gigantic hill. A hack out of the weeds to 15 feet and I nearly made an all-world par (just couldn’t get anything to fall today)!
I’m a righty and was standing in the weeds. The picture looks slightly worse than it was, as I actually had a pretty level stance (the bunker is severely sloped from the fairway), but I clearly would have been much better off being one more inch with a clean sand lie.
I’ll also note that this missed fairway was NOT a TSR, and was instead a hybrid. Perhaps a choked down 3w was the play as it clearly outperformed every other club in my bag today!

Didn’t Talge give you tips yesterday? So are you blaming him?
That is a great haul
I see lots of man clothes. What’s mine ???
He did but I’m still not fixed yet lol. Tips on that were good for sure but it’s a bigger change for me and is going to take more work. I think today was part of the growing pains.
Holy crap dude you went haam
The "If you know you know" is I believe a hoodie. Totally commandeerable.
That’s a serious haul, and a lot of flags haha
good job ??
Huge haul!!!
I’ll take it!
I was just thinking the same thing.
I know JT wouldn’t steer you wrong. Having the same issue with my putting as well. Need to practice those tips I received because now I’m half committed and the other who knows what…
The second picture and the yeti mug in the first
Big shoutout to THP and Titleist for treating these guys to something so unbelievable.
The little flag is so ??? #wantandneed
Daaaayum!! Nicely done! Also, we might need more details.
Nice round!!
But you’re funny so it all cancels out in the best way possible!
Hell of a haul there! Now I need a goat head cover and towel!
If you say so lol
He’s cray cray
I only say that because when we played, 3 out of 4 of us were right in that bowl hahaha
100% where I’m at too. The tips were to put the ball in the center of my stance (I had it up front) and to focus on a simple pendulum stroke (I tend to turn my hips and shoulders on putts, no good). Having a hard time shaking it but I’m planning to work hard at it. Left a lot of strokes out there on the greens this week.
I think hammock beach has been a solid #2 on a list of need to visit THP locations for awhile. But it’s got some competition now.
Damn… what a haul! ?
Holy hell what a haul!!!
what is that white hoodie? It’s amazing
???
It’s the same one that JB has been wearing, zero restriction brand.
