Haven’t read the entire thread but what’s the deal with LIV uniforms? This is not a team event and the PGA Players were not wearing hats with PGA emblazoned on them. What I’m saying is that was a bit weird.

Meh, I am fine with it. How is it different from wearing a callaway, Taylormade, Boeing or whatever brand hat or clothing? They are basically human NASCAR’s made for advertising.
My bet would be high for something like a bougie Shepard’s pie for one of the dishes.

I kind of wondered about that myself. Of course the LIV players are “employees” of the LIV Tour, whereas PGA Tour players are not employees of the PGA Tour. They are considered independent contractors. As for wearing Callaway, Taylor Made, etc., they get all that stuff for free and are paid to wear it, use it, whatever.

I’m not sure there is a top player anywhere on golf not contractually obligated to where certain apparel. Be it Dude Wipes, FJ or a LIV team logo.

Correct. But specifically, with the LIV guys, why they’re wearing LIV stuff outside of LIV, their contracts say they have to.
