April 13th – Arrival to Ballyhack
4pm Arrival, get a tour of the facility and then relax until a group dinner and SWAG party at 6:30pm in a private room. Post Dinner, grab your favorite beverage and then we are off to the lighted up 18th hole for putting after dark with your brand new Cleveland Putter. This is a fun and relaxed way to get some testing in with the people that create the product you are using.
April 14th – Golf, More Golf and AMA
Breakfast at the Ballyhack Club House, followed by 18 holes of golf at this amazing golf course. This is followed by lunch in the club house. A short few hour break before it is time to grab your brand new Cleveland CBZ wedges for the Goat Track at Ballyhack. This is the par 3 course there that is carved into the regular golf course with a separate tee box on each hole.
Following up the Goat Track fun, we have a group dinner in a private room at Ballyhack, where an AMA will take place on everything you want to know about the tech side of the ZXiR irons and CBZ wedges. You will be in the room with the experts and the conversation will go deep.
April 15th – Golf and Celebration
Breakfast at the Ballyhack Golf Club House, followed by 18 holes of golf. This is followed up with lunch in the dining room and we say our goodbyes.
This is a lot to take in with a very unique itinerary above. Multiple rounds of golf at Ballyhack, as well as an extra round on the Goat Track par 3 course, and doing so with the people behind the clubs you are being given, is going to be special.
For those that are unaware of the property, Ballyhack Golf Club is a private property located in Roanoke, VA that features full stay and play in wonderful cottages along the course. Once on property, you will not have to leave for anything.
The 2026 SRIXON Experience will feature two people from SRIXON along with myself and 5 THPers.
ALL SKILL LEVELS are welcome and we mean that with everything we stand for.

Qualifying
THP Events are held throughout the year and are incredibly unique ways to share a round or weekend with THPers and are filled with equipment, prizes and more. Your ticket to enter these events is the 2026 Albatross Club membership which goes to help a wonderful charity benefitting children. You must have the ability to review and discuss your new equipment on the THP Forum post event. Our goal is for full peer to peer sharing of information and thoughts on the new clubs that you are being given and the knowledge that will be learned. Of course, at the conclusion of this event, the entire bag and all 14 clubs are yours to keep.

@JB will participants have time to hit the clubs or get fitted before orders are submitted? I would be very interested in the performance differences between the ZXiR and the ZXiR HL.
I just received my ZxiR set a week ago and I’ve played one round with them. We are having unseasonable warm weather for this time of the year so I managed to get to play them before spring. However, I had a couple of very short practice sessions indoors with them which did not seem anything special. I compared them to my gamers – T350’s.
I did not think they were good enough to replace the T350’s, but then I played that one round with them two days ago and shot the lowest score EVER. Yes, they were that good. Higher flight, more spin, better trajectory. Who could ask for me.
I’m just glad I went with the ZxiR over the HL model after all the reviewers were saying how good the HL’s were.
I get to play another round with them tomorrow and I’m really looking forward to it because I want to validate my first round with them. I was in awe of the performance – made some shots that even surprised me. Especially since I haven’t really played outside since early November.

I’m excited for the equipment that was announced for this one. Also excited to see more about how we are going to do this event justice. In just about every AMA thread this specific event is mentioned on how we as a community need to bounce back and crush this one
Yeah Srixon has been great to the THP community and they deserve to be represented well by the participants and the forum as a whole. As much as the participants need to engage, the community needs to be present and help them along. I know we can do it and it’s one I am looking forward to helping along .
Personally, I have come to the realization that I don’t review equipment well. I try, but my reviews come down to “love it” or “hate it”!
I wish I knew more to explain why or whatnot, but I just don’t know.
It is why that I personally stopped signing up for equipment events. People better than me should get into the events to review and explain their opinions on equipment.
I could imagine getting into an event like this after trying a lot of Srixon stuff and saying 1000 times that I love the equipment but that not really helping the sponsoring company.
The Zx4 irons when they came out were amazing for me. Don’t really know the “why” other than my dispersion and length were fantastic compare to others that release cycle.
I can’t wait to see people in the event get their minds blown. Everything that I have read says 2026 could be a great year for Srixon and I want to read why these are so great for the people lucky enough to experience the event.
I think reviewing clubs is more about the hard numbers or being overly technical with what you are experiencing. I wouldn’t sell yourself short with what kind of feedback you can bring and bring it in your own unique way.
Add in how the forum testing is structured and how the community will be here to help, a lot of times it’s just explaining what you are seeing and how it is translating to your game.
I’ve been eying those ZXiR HL irons. Tons of game improvement tech in one sexy sexy package.
As someone who is strongly going all Srixon Cleveland for next season this one is going to be an amazing follow
I have to admit. The HLs world likely be calling my name, it’s interesting how Srixon “hides” the game improving tech.
The Srixon ZXiR HL irons look really really good. As do the Cleveland CBZ wedges. This is going to be a really good event and can’t wait to see feedback on these clubs.
Being Tax day deadline falls on this experience will be interested to see the participants and follow along (likely not live) excited to hear about new offerings or general feedback in Srixon lineup. Sadly the deadline does not allow me to participate.

I’ve been pleasantly suprised about the early reports of how well the ZXiR’s are performing…especially in regards to trajectory. I was a bit concerned about the lofts of the mid-irons.
This is going to be an absolutely phenomenal event. Look forward to hearing all the great feedback on the line….
let’s gooo!!
That is one heck of an experience with all that swag
Play with a number of folks that bag the ZXI line of irons. They have always caught my interest and look amazing. Not a a stranger to Cleveland wedges and would love to give the CBZs a run.
I hope the focus on ZXIR, HL and the CBZ does not deter some of the better players from considering this experience.

Well said and spot on.
The ZXiR with a Dart 75 F4 would be an amazing set of irons.

The R series with the CBZ sounds like a seriously fun bag.

Ultimate forgiveness and performance!?
I’m really interested in the ZXiR HL model, as I’ve stated before the lofts are right in my comfort zone, and I know Srixon knows how to make really good GI irons. I owned a set of Z355s, a very underrated 2015 release, and had them in the bag for almost five years. They were really good, very forgiving, and to my eye were some of the best looking GI irons of that era. I’ve also played the Cleveland CBX wedges quite a bit, with CBX2s and one CBX4.
I’d love to get into the 2026 Srixon Experience, honestly who wouldn’t. I’m confident I could meet or exceed THP’s and Srixon’s expectations of the participants, and it’s one I actually think the dates would work out for me.
I’m thinking ZXiR HL with the Dart 65 F3, but same general idea.
Already gaming the CBZ wedges, they’re excellent. Two of my buddies have hit them and are strongly pondering them.
Srixon just makes a great product and hearing about their new tech would be incredible. The drivers were a massive improvement and if they keep making this progress forward it gets even more exciting!
I’m super excited about the Srixon woods and Cleveland wedges. A couple of the pros locally bomb the driver and fairways and Cleveland wedges are always good.

Questions from R&D can be answered on the ball as well

I’ve spent more time building bags with shafts I’ve never used in the last week than i ever have before. This is going to be such a great experience

Srixon knows how to build sexy irons!
Honestly have not used CB wedges in forever, ironically since BEFORE the original Diadic Cleveland 53 degree wedges from around 2005? So I’m all in on mega Game improvement.
Whelp, I have done it again, tried to build a complete set easiest for me (I think) to use and play through the bag – I would fine tune with grips and whatnot, but only the driver is not the max game improvement – and that is based on last season’s use of the driver I have i the bag now. Irons, wedges, fwy woods and hybrid all max improvement – even Ithogh kind of sad about it all senior flex non-exotic shafts. If given the chance, to test, write about and answer questions on these would be in the bag – I’d love to see how they could change the game.

I can’t – no golf until mid to late Jan and into February (depending on what the MD says on 6 Jan)l but I get your point! And, I have one other advantage for fitting – in that my course is a Srixon fitter – which I have thought was very cool – they also have Srixon/Cleveland full sets for those who need a rental set. And, lastly 2 of my regular partners, use Srixon bag setups now.
I hope to demo and swing as soon as I am able. For giggles I may go out next week with my group, just to walk 9 and putt, get some exercise and keep fresh with the putter.
And I threw a Cleveland ZT putter in the bag too!
Calendar reminder set. The value of this entire Experience is absolutely mind blowing!
Marketing on the Srixon homepage for these is brilliant. These should be hits with the average golfer.

The Team ZXiR tryouts stuff from Srixon is really good. I enjoy this marketing:

Yep, this was a fun watch.
I wonder if the team needs an H2O distribution engineer? I could probably fill that role.
No ZXIR or HL at the store I was at but Based on some swings I took with the ZXI 4, I think the HL may be better suited for how I deliver the club. I was hitting low screamers that were hot hot hot low spin bullets.

I’ve never considered them, but if they feel anything like the ZXi5/7, these could be a MASSIVE hit. Def want to see them in person before passing any judgement.
In case I happen to go to this event, I am looking very seriously at some Asic Kayano’s to add to the shoe stable. Everything I read seems like they check all the boxes – and part of the Srixon/Cleveland umbrella!
Oh, and another complete set of clubs built – I have issues.
I am seriously intrigued by the new metal/alloy and have had a major desire to bag a set of the irons with the unique sole design – I may need to take a rental set out on course when I am next able to play.

I almost pulled the trigger on some Asic’s golf I was fitted by a fleet feet to one of there running shoes when I was trying to get more active a few years ago and they were a wonderfully stable running shoe for a bigger guy and there were some good holiday deals
We have great articles and threads on those shoes
Indeed, i read at least one last night.
This one. https://www.thehackersparadise.com/asics-golf-shoe-review/
Thanks @JB and @ddec
Well, between the gift card my secret santa gave me (thanks again Secret Santa), the article noted in the previous post (thanks @ddec) and World wide Golf having great prices on various things (including Asics shoes) I have a pair ordered and enroute – will break them in in 3-6 weeks when I am able to play – but may well walk the course a few times in the interim – just putting with my regular group.
I used to use Asics triathlon running shoes – so these ought be great right out of the box.
I went with the Gel Kayano Ace.
I love the video. “Max forgiveness for the average golfer”. Sign me up.

I think you’ll really like those. I was very impressed with the three pair of Asics that I used this year. Kayano Ace being my favorite.
I prefer spikes, don’t need spikes, just prefer them. But these look to have a pretty aggressive ‘spikeless’ pattern, my course is mostly flat, and I usually play relatively early. Also, walk almost all rounds, these seem like they hit all those needs/wants.
Truthfully, I’m the stupid, as I’ve looked at them a lot and failed to pull the trigger sooner.
??
Edit to add: your review of the 3 pairs/models, helped a lot. Thanks.

I have a love hate relationship with spikeless. These are aggressive and traction wasn’t really an issue for me. Even is crazy wet conditions. Excellent walking shoe and my body felt noticeably better by the time I got home from the course.

I have a problem – did it again – made another whole bag – working on making the easiest to play bag one can build. The HL irons, the Max Driver, 5 and 7 woods turned down and with 1/2 extra shaft length to sort of make them more like 4 and 6 woods.
And, a ZT (or at least LT) putter – borrowing from the Odyssey putter – a countershaft (chrome) going into a silver head to reduce or at least minimize the potential distraction of shaft to head colors.
I think I have just too much time on my hands.
