A new THP Experience unlike anything we have done before is coming in just a few short months. Earlier this year we featured a new Titleist Tour Soft and if you missed that feature, you can find it here. In doing so, we thought it would be interesting to get THPers together with Titleist ball experts to have an open discussion around golf ball performance and do so at an amazing property.
When & Where
September 13th-15th, 2026
Hidden Creek Golf Club
Egg Harbor Township, NJ

Details
This incredible few days is open to 8 THPers that will join people from Titleist and myself for several great days at the amazing Hidden Creek. The 2026 Titleist Golf Ball Experience is all about finding the balance between performance and materials and learning that there is more than just layers and cover material.
You will be playing with both the people that created the products and the people that bring them to market and fit them.
Cost & What’s Included
Cost is $599
Multiple Days of Golf at Hidden Creek
Private Lodging in Cottages at the course
Tons of SWAG including Titleist Golf Balls
Incredible Group Dinners with Titleist
All Meals and Drinks Included
And a whole lot more
Qualifying
THP Events are held throughout the year and are incredibly unique ways to share a round or weekend with THPers and are filled with equipment, prizes and more. Your ticket to enter these events is the 2026 Albatross Club membership which goes to help a wonderful charity benefitting children. For more information on that or to sign up and help support this great cause, click here.

Skill Level
ALL skill levels are welcome and we mean that with everything we stand for. This event might even be tailored for those that are not single digit handicaps and want to find a ball that has the performance and the cost that suits them best.
Itinerary
September 13th – Arrival to Hidden Creek
4pm Arrival, get a tour of the facility and shown to your cottage for some unwinding before a group dinner and SWAG party at 6:30pm brought right to the cottage. Post Dinner, grab your favorite beverage and have a chat about technology/performance with the group from Titleist.
September 14th – Golf, More Golf and AMA
Breakfast at the Hidden Creek Club House, followed by 18 holes of golf at this amazing golf course. This is followed by lunch in the club house. Then an additional 9 holes of golf. You will be playing alongside THPers and Titleist, including SVP of Golf Balls, Jeremy Stone. Those that followed last year, know Jeremy is just awesome to be around and learn from.
Following up the fun on the golf course, we have a group dinner in a private room at Hidden Creek, where an AMA will take place on everything you want to know about golf balls. We call this golf ball boot camp and we are going to go beyond the traditional cover materials or compression numbers. Basics explained and then all questions answered straight from the source over cocktails. You will be in the room with the expert and the conversation will go deep.
September 15th – Golf and Celebration
Breakfast at the Hidden Creek Club House, followed by 18 holes of golf. This is followed up with lunch in the dining room and we say our goodbyes.

I’m excited for the range time during ball fitting. I’ve been hitting off the worst mats with LF balls.
I am looking forward to tryng to follow this. I have never really given Titleist balls much of a look for no real good reason. I am happy with what i am playing now, but trying to have a more open mind. I also have no idea if what i think i should be playing is really what i should be playing. Just know i like it haha. Will be interesting to see how things go for everyone out there.
Looking forward to seeing pics of Hidden Creek again, too. Such a classy cool place.

I grabbed some ProV1s and some left dash Xs just because, and I kinda dig the way the left dash feels off the driver. They feel pretty similar off the putter face, and I haven’t hit an iron shot solid enough to make a judgement. Coming from the Chrome Tour, I haven’t really noticed a difficult transition to either around the green. I tend to play a good bit of spin, and I’m getting reliable results.
I’ve never really had a proper ball fitting. We did a little bit of testing during my GTS fitting so will be curious to see if anything changes.

Ball fitting is going to be exciting and can’t wait to see what content comes from it!
I was thinking about what I’m going to look for in the pro shop at 530 this morning. I was thinking about the meals I’m having last night. I think I’m excited.

I am not golfing again until I am in the state of New Jersey. My fear is if I play any more golf here at home I won’t have anything left in the tank for this event, which would be a huge problem.
Now to clean everything up and decide which bag I’m bringing to the event.

I believe everything is on the table?
I have tried AVX and TruFeel in the past but honestly didn’t get along with the feel of either so back to the V1 I went.
I’m actually interested in trying the Tour Soft just to see how it performs.

It should be eye opening. I’m going to be interested in seeing what ball is recommended and why as it pertains to your game.

Not that it matters either way but i wonder how it will work, are we going one at a time or multiple fittings simultaneously?
I need to know if we need to jockey for position lol

Last event they had two trackmans and also one of the Titleist staff over at the short game area, so roughly 3 people at a time?

I suppose if @Hawk’s social media fan base shows up it might slow things down a bit :ROFLMAO:
We could always create a station to station setup: pro shop, short game area, track man bay and heckling/video post

I am expecting to be fit into a prov1x, the ball fitter on their site recommended the prov1x also

Great wingman
I remember the ball fitting and discussion on premium golf balls for a premium player. No such thing.
I play bogey golf, regular flex shafts, and SGI irons…. I benefit the most from a premium ball because I will capitalize on all of the tech and characteristics it has to offer.
Is it just me or do the yellow ProV1 feel different than white? I’m sure it’s just in my mind
I’m not sure if I can really call it a dream or not, but I woke up this morning rather abruptly because we were about to tee off and I only had one bar of battery left and no SD card in my Nikon 😮
And yes, the battery is currently in the charger and I have two SD cards at the ready. One in the camera and a backup in my golf bag LOL

I’m watching a Titleist video on YouTube right now discussing how the left dash came about and they mentioned that the aliphatic urethane used in the yellow balls is slightly harder than the standard white ball.
Next level feels right there!
While I’m certain that it holds true for a ton of products we use every day, knowing the research and development that manufacturers are currently putting into their golf balls completely boggles my mind that at one point in time golf balls had a liquid centre :ROFLMAO:

I’m not sure why a liquid center ball was thought to be a good idea. Should have left it to chewing gum:

In the video one of the engineers said that he tried just about everything from gum to Guinness beer
Fun fact: 90 individual points of inspection for every ProV1 ball, 120 for ProV1x.
I may have to rethink my process when I lose one, somehow my current method of just reaching into my bag for another seems woefully inadequate. Somebody spent a lot of time making sure that ball was absolutely perfect and I didn’t give it a second thought 🙁

I do know the yellow doesn’t show the scuffs as much.
