You will get a recommendation about shafts for your wedges that may be different from what you may think going in to the fitting.
You will definitely be seeing some spin in your fitting.

Agree- I had been using KBS $ Tapers in my wedges and the fitter thought they were crap and fit me into Dynamic Gold Tour S400’s. I absolutely love them.

– How would you rate your current short game? What’s working and what’s not?
– What is the biggest question you have around wedges?
– How do you currently play wedges? Or you a sweeper, digger, or something in the middle?
– Besides the fitting, what else are you looking forward to once you step foot on TPI property?
– Finally, a fun one: If you get the option to custom stamp your wedges, what are you going to do?
I seriously cannot be more excited for each of you – TPI was truly an incredible experience and you are

– How would you rate your current short game? What’s working and what’s not?
Not great, need to get better from the rough and bunkers. When im having a good day im ok from 30-90 yds. Inside 30 yds I try to do too much sometimes and that leads to trouble.
– What is the biggest question you have around wedges?
Mostly how to pick what grinds and bounces. If I play different conditions, what should I prioritize when deciding on grind and bounce. Im under the impression that I should play low bounce because a lot of times I play on hard ground or there’s not a lot of grass (sometimes course conditions, mostly I get myself in bad situations 😃 ), but does this compromise my performance when im playing off a decent lie? Same situation with bunkers, my home course has terrible bunkers in that it has very little sand, would having too much bounce there be detrimental, but if I got to a course with nice bunkers is having not enough bounce detrimental?
– How do you currently play wedges? Or you a sweeper, digger, or something in the middle?
sweeper. I play 2 wedges 50, and 56 and almost never hit full shots with either.
– Besides the fitting, what else are you looking forward to once you step foot on TPI property?
For me, it’s prob all the knowledge and wisdom that will be shared. Not specific to stepping foot on TPI, but also very much looking forward to meeting more fellow THPers!
– Finally, a fun one: If you get the option to custom stamp your wedges, what are you going to do?
probably one with my wife’s name and some hearts. probably one with my forum name and some symbols to go with it.
