Went to the golf galaxy free fitting event today. Looks like I’m getting a lot of spin. They didn’t have the Diamanas to try but tried the Denali Blue 60S and the Fuji Pro Black 60S and I think I’ll be going for the WB as the Denali Blue was too high spin (106 CHS, 152 ball, 3620 rpm, 17.2 launch). Fuji black was (106chs, 156 ball, 2775 rpm, 13.8 launch).
Fitter said at 106 I’m prob closer to an S than an X. So now thinking maybe WB 53 S. Any thoughts from the experts? My miss is an OTT slice or pull.

Shaft isn’t going to influence spin like crazy, but at over 17 launch with 3600, it doesn’t appear it’s an angle of attack thing. Have you considered lofting down and/changing balls

I was imagining the pace you’d set. I think you’d lap group two around the 10th hole on your second 18

I usually play 10.5 and tried 9* today. I was using their balls which was a pro V1. I usually play vice pro. Any recommendations on ball?
The Fuji black did bring launch angle down to 13.8 and spin down a bit which is why I’m leaning towards the WB

Thanks!I use to play the chrome soft, will take a look at it again and try out the avx. any advice on the shaft in terms of S vs X?

I don’t think flex is the biggest part. Guessing blindly I would say if you are over the top of miss is a hook/pull, go S and if it’s a massive fade go X.

May want to look at a lighter weight

Yeah I’m looking at the 53
@yoose it sounds like I am you and you are me. For the same reasons I am leaning WB 53 X. I’m usually a touch faster as well, reinforcing the X idea.
Still hoping to hit something before the 17th but if I can’t (which is likely as weather looks pretty awful for the next week) that’s probably my move.
The one thing I cannot stress enough is that just because someone goes lighter, it doesn’t mean they have to go stiffer, strength and stiffness are not the same thing, and with composite materials flex and weight are independent.
While ai have no idea if anybody is doing that here, the thought gets posted a lot on THP. It’s completely wrong. As an example, i’m going into the 50s and my flex is not moving
Moved back tees today to 6500 in preparation for this event! Tomorrow At 10am I will be swinging the Diamana shafts I am excited!
Man, hoping they have time to rebuilt Philadelphia after last night before the event so we still have somewhere to fly into. 😉
