Sometimes a product gets sent in and you look at it and say “Why didn’t I Think of That” and yesterday was one of those days. Simple, necessary and works perfectly is the best way to describe the Eyeglass Caddie, but the what and the how also matter.
A small box arrived to the office and upon opening it, this small eyeglass holder was sitting there. Simple enough in design, it is open on the top for easy in and out holstering with a flat back side that houses a strong magnet.

The purpose is to drop this similar to the way most use the magnet on rangefinders currently, right on the side bar of the golf cart. Be it for reading glasses or sunglasses, it works flawlessly and testing it out on long cart rides over bumpy terrain, the Eyeglass Caddie never failed.
The sheer amount of golfers that wear sunglasses while playing, but prefer not to use them for reading greens or even swinging is astronomical. I was a golfer that used to throw them down on the ground next to my putter cover so I wouldn’t forget the pair. That is until I stepped on the last pair and I adjusted to just not wearing sunglasses on the course.
The Eyeglass Caddie changes that. Wearing all day until swing time or walking up to the green and having a simple place in the cart where they are safe from scratches, yet providing easy access.

Again, it goes back to the question, “Why didn’t I think of that?”. Someone did. It’s not an overly expensive item at under $19 at the time of this writing and if you use a push cart rather than a riding option, they even offer a mounting plate for a few dollars that fits the Eyeglass Caddie perfectly.
After a few trials, this is a permanent addition to my golf bag and I wanted to share it for those that play in sunglasses, eyeglasses or have readers with them on the course. Check out their website at www.theeyeglasscaddie.com.

If I had my own cart this would be awesome when switching from glasses to sunglasses. On a course cart I’d definitely leave it and forget it and be pissed.
That sure looks handy!!

I think many golfers have become accustom to grabbing it because its also where their laser is kept.

Didn’t think about that.
It’s a easy solution which is great and like that they have the optional plate to hook it up to the push cart.
Definitely falls in the simple but blindingly obvious category for me
I already have a caddy for my phone and rangefinder, I can definitely see myself using this as well.
Very clever, yet very simple.
Oh definitely need one of these. I can’t see shit without cheaters these days. This completely solves the golf cart problem

I cannot stress enough how good this works for me so far.
Thats pretty cool. I wear sunglasses a lot on course but when you don’t want them I worry about just putting them in the cart.

This was me to a T.
This solution arrived at my office and slapped me in the face. I will be ordering some more for friends.
That is pretty cheap too! Only have green as a color but I could work with that.
Really smart idea there.
Pretty cool and definitely a “why didn’t I think of that” moment. As an eye glasses wearer, it’s not quite the product for me as I’d need a white stick without my specs.
Love it. A few years ago during a routine eye exam the Doctor said “ Do you play golf”. I said yes and he said then wear sunglasses. Looking into it found its a good idea in the sun tp protect your eyes. As others have said when i take them off i worry about them and dont always wear them when i should. Definitely will order this. They would be even cooler with the THP Logo on them.
Cool idea, not something I would ever see myself using personally
I can see the utility in that and I could probably use that myself.
I had a really old cell phone case that I repurposed for that exact use.
Good product idea, and versatile, looks almost perfect for holding salami sticks.
For $19, it’s a great solution to a problem for the aging golfer population that need to have reading glasses for the scorecard or phone during a round as well as the swapping of regular vs sunglasses.
Great idea
What a brilliant product. I hate wearing glasses on top of my hat, but hate throwing them in the cubby in the cart. Seriously, how did I not think of this?
Smart idea I always have sunglasses on and I hate jamming them in a pocket on the golf bag Or setting them in the art when not needed.
I love reading about startups with completely new products.
Great idea.
Really good product for $19.
I really like that but I know I would probably lose it within 5 rounds.:ROFLMAO:
My dumbass would probably grab the case and try to shoot the pin with it.
I do know a community that these would sell well in even if not for golf.
They should add an optional velcro strap for when you’re walking the course.
great idea. I wear glasses. and on sunny days I do switch between regular and sunglasses. I’ve lost 2 pair of sunglasses since I forgot them in the cart when I walked off since the last holes were in the shade.
This may be a stocking stuffer for the FIL. He has his own golf cart and always has issues with glasses to sunglasses and where he puts the one not on his face. I have had my magnetic rangefinder fly off the cart but I am assuming the weight of this with glasses would not have an issue flying off.
damn it, why didn’t I think of that!?
Another random, useful item I didn’t know I would ever need.
