Off Course is back this week with a fantastic show. Hosted by Dan Edwards each Friday he gives you a deep look into the world of golf and equipment in a way unlike any other podcast has done before. Today Jason Finley joins the show to talk about new golf balls.
It wouldn’t be Off Course without some tangents, but we talk about the new Callaway golf balls lineup, the greatest amateur event on the planet and a whole lot more. This show has a lot going on and it is an episode you will not want to miss as Jason Finley goes Off Course.
Episode 46 is here and Dan and his guest Jason Finley discuss the following topics.
The new Callaway Chrome Soft X LS
The Grandaddy of em All
Callaway on Tour
The best fast food taco
And so much more

Listening to this piques my interest in the new ChromeSoft X LS even more.
Still gonna need more than that to take down my boy @MattyD-MPLS
Darth Finley: You shot one of the best scores and it wasn’t even under par.
@Canadan: Oh, it was. Believe me…
Darth Finley (referencing playing against THPers in the Grandaddy): It’s like shooting fish in a barrel.
@Canadan: sly chuckles (translated – “I’d like a piece of you.”)
I think Both sides are amped up for this adventure!
I had the exact same thought.
If that’s true, why is it never talked about?
I prefer the feel of a pretty hard ball, but never considered it might be less forgiving.
Darth being Darth is always fun to listen to!
What tees will we be playing at the Dye course, Dax?
They really are. It is something you only get used to by experiencing it several times. I think it’s good for everybody who is seriously wanting to play their best golf to get in some amateur tournaments. It really helps one’s game.
Let me pull my yardage book and I’ll tell ya…
More than likely it will be around 6646 yards…
Unless they go with the mixed tees that are 6340.
Get it past the 12th & and you will be well on your way @MattyD-MPLS… I actually hit this green then 3 putted to lose the match.
I recommend starting birdie birdie par birdie.
Based on @JasonFinleyCG ’s comments on this week’s Off Course, I guess we can print the shirts…
great episode as always @Canadan and thanks to @JasonFinleyCG for taking the time!
This is great.
make sure you look for a nice message while in there

The LS is going to be a great ball for a lot of players. I love the X, it’s what I play. I’d love to see the difference in spin numbers with the LS and X off my driver though.
I don’t know if I can take @Canadan‘s SQAIRZ Golf Shoe ad read seriously until I see a photo of him wearing some.
I hear each pair comes with complimentary matching joggers.
It will happen soon. Water proofing is too good for him not to jump in.
I think you spelled "motivation" wrong.
Finley’s explanation about the Grandaddy performance from most THPers makes total sense even if it was a shot at us all.
You guys helped me create the question of the day today. (I always have a question of the day for my people to have fun with)
Today’s question was "what makes a restaurant location to be considered fast food?" I gotta try Jack in the Box one day, but none are around here.
My thoughts are different from @JasonFinleyCG . If a location has a drive-thru then it is completely in the fast-food department. You can’t drive up and order a taco or something and pickup within a min or two and not call that fast food.
they both suck.
Wasnt comparing them to anywhere else. But anyone on the same parallel or north of it has the same problem if not worse
I’ll trade you guys……
No. You did this to yourself.
so did you basically…..
Remember he moved South from Cananananananada. He just didn’t go far enough and got stuck in the Ohio mud.
You’re not wrong. I have regrets.
About marriage or Ohio???…………?
I blame Arnie.
