Off Course is back this week with a fantastic show. Hosted by Dan Edwards each Friday he gives you a deep look into the world of golf and equipment in a way unlike any other podcast has done before. Today Dan welcomes Jason Finley from Callaway Golf to the show to talk about the greatest amateur event ever created, The Grandaddy.
It wouldn’t be Off Course without some tangents, but Jason joins the show to talk about next week’s Grandaddy, the happenings at Callaway and a whole lot more. This episode has a lot going on and it is an episode you will not want to miss as Jason Finley goes Off Course.
Episode 85 is here and Dan and Jason discuss the following topics.
The Grandaddy of Em All
The Lunatic Fringe of Golf Equipment
Where is Jason’s Game Currently
And so much more

I also like how Dan didn’t mention @JDax but Jason was not at all shy about calling him out. (Sorry bud – still rooting for you!)
Couple of things I am super excited about
I cannot wait to see what happens this year, and just like Dan, I am predicting a THP victory.
Wear it as a badge of honor!!!!
Putter talk makes me feel things
#Internetgolfers
All I know is I’m not in that category, if you gave me a head only I would just look at it and be very confused. However, I think it was intended as not only a compliment but also a possible hoarding issue that some of us (you) may have.
Absolutely pumped to dive into this Off Course!
Just block off next week during the day, because the live update thread is so much fun
One other thing Jason notes is how at his recent experience, and I’m completely paraphrasing here so hopefully I understood this right, but he was talking about how you get some "dumb" questions at a THP Experience (referencing the Dream Foursome which I was lucky enough to be a part of), but some of the questions you get are a reminder of what the real world looks like because it’s easy to kind of get trapped in the world of knowing SO MUCH, but that’s not the average real world golfer.
I loved that, because I definitely was this guy, I feel like I asked some horrifically dumb questions, but I also feel like I had input or questions that highlighted exactly what he’s saying. Really cool perspective to hear it from him though.
I would never say to do that….
really glad you guys are enjoying!! It’s almost grandaddy week!!!
And I plan to be right in the middle of it.
Well if there’s one thing that has always been true, is that Finley is always under stated.
No doubt about it buddy! Cannot wait.
I would say so
Thanks man! Any blade putter that makes @Luke WilliamsCG come to his senses is a putter worth getting excited about!
That is what I am saying!!!!!!!
I’ve got tons of questions and curiosities about callaway and this event week, but this by far my biggest.
Yeah, Roger Cleveland was too nice to me there and now everything feels not as awesome by comparison. Ugh.
So pumped to get out there, meet everyone, and see/touch some new goodies.
