Would love the opportunity to win.
1) I have personally never been fit for any of my clubs. I would like to believe that it would help shave a few shots off of my round. Additionally, it would be nice to know that the clubs are not the issue!
2) I currently am running a Titleist 915 D3, Titleist TSI 3 wood and hybrid, Titleist 714 CB’s, 3 Titleist SM9’s, and a Mizuno M-Craft putter.
3) the closest location to me would be in Edina, MN.
Good luck to everyone
Lots of good posts and deserving folks for a full fitting! Maybe Club Champ can get us who lose a group discount code?!

[/QUOTE]
I must have missed that post!
Don’t you have your own Mitsubishi gear?! I am very curious about trying the Mitsubishi MMT iron shafts as a replacement for my Steelfibers in my next set of irons.
1. I am relatively new to golf as I picked up the game last summer and quickly caught the bug. I have gotten to the point in my game where I am no longer a complete disaster and can manage my way around the course. Similar to others of my experience level, I have a hodgepodge of a bag as I attempted to scrape together a set when I started playing. My biggest reason for needing a fitting is my gapping. Given that my set is a mixed bag of used clubs from Facebook marketplace, there are multiple spots where clubs go the same distance or I have a massive gap. Particularly, in the top of my bag, where my driver goes no more than 10-15 yards longer than my 3 wood and with the accuracy sacrifice in the driver, it has become obsolete. At the bottom, my gap wedge is only 5 yards longer than my sand wedge, leaving another awkward spot. Finally, my putter has an incredibly firm feel and I find it difficult to control distance. Ultimately, I think a fitting could be very beneficial to my game, and I hope that clubs with better gapping can make the game less frustrating at times and more enjoyable (or I’m just telling myself that to believe that there is hope for my game out there somewhere).
2.
Driver: Cobra SZ 400 10.5 degree (Cobra Aldila HM Tour 60-R shaft)
3 Wood: Taylormade Burner Supersteel (Bubble Shaft 90-S)
Hybrids: Walter Hagan XLR 3 and 4 hybrid
Irons: Walter Hagan XLR 5-PW, SW
Gap wedge: Vokey SM5 52-08
Lob wedge: Ping Eye 2
Putter: Walter Hagan XLR Mallet
3. Cincinnati (Kenwood)
Step 1. Because I’ve always self-fit and done a decent job of it. Would love to see if I can be persuaded that Club Champion can do a better job.
Step 2. Titleist TSR3 Driver; Titleist 915Fd fairway; Titleist TSR3 hybrids (2); Mizuno MP18 mmcs (5-PW); Callaway Jaws 52, PM Grind 58; Odyssey O Works #7
Step 3. Creve Couer, MO.
1) I’ve never been fitted and almost all of my clubs are prepared.
2) Callaway Paradym Driver, Taylormade Aero Burner 3 wood, Adam’s Idea 3-PW and SW, Vokey 52 & 58 Wedges, and a Scotty Cameron putter.
3) Closest location is Oklahoma City.
1. Unfortunately, getting fitted is a little steep. That being said having clubs tailored for your swing is the best thing any golfer should get done. Making the game more enjoyable than it already is.
2. Ping g400 max 9deg, rbz 3 wood, titlest h1, taylormade cb forged irons (3-pw) cleveland cg 16 52, 56, vokey sm8 60. Odyssey 2mcs.
3. Brookfield, WI
1. I have never actually had a fitting for any clubs, and have been playing with hand-me-downs or secondhand clubs for the past decade. I feels as though I am at the stage in my game where properly fitted clubs would be hugely beneficial. However, I am not able to afford a fitted new set as my wife and I just purchased our first home. A fitting would be a game changer for me.
2. Titleist 917 D2 driver
Circa 1993 Titleist DTR 3I-PW
Random garage sale Ben Hogan wedges and putter
No woods or hybrids but currently hunting some down
3. Scarsdale Rd. North York, Ontario
I’ve been following Club Champion/ TXG for years and lurking around this forum, but this finally gave me a reason to register, thank you both for this!
1) The clubs I am currently using are over a decade old and still somehow not as beat up as my body over that decade. A few hockey injuries mean I can no longer properly control the x-stiff Alidila Rogue I have in my driver, and the lack of grooves on my SM4’s isn’t helping to make up for that around the greens either!
2) Driver: Nike Covert Tour 430cc, Woods: Titleist 913f 5-wood, Irons: Mizuno jpx 800 pro, Wedges: Titleist SM4, Putter: Scotty Cameron Flowback 5.5 (fit by CC Mississauga)
3) Mississauga location
Step 1 – Share with us why you need a fitting?
This year I’ve been able to reduce my handicap from 20s to 12. All clubs I own currently are second hand clubs. A couple of years ago, I bought a used set of irons from Callaway pre-owned. I’m not sure if there’s an issue with the shafts that were on it or if they were stored incorrectly. But during a lesson I snapped the clubhead of my 6i. I was able to replace the shaft and everything was fine. But last month I played Kapalua Bay and on hole 17 my 8i head snapped off and flew off the cliff. I was unable to retrieve it and have just been playing a choke 7i whenever I need an 8. The warranty for my irons expired after a year so Callaway did not offer any replacement. I’ve been contemplating getting fit for clubs to see if I could improve my game further. I’ve never been fit before and I now feel like I have a swing I’m confident with to get a professional fitting.
Step 2 – Tell us What’s In Your Bag Currently?
Sim 2 Max 10.5 Mitsubishi Tensei blue
Ping G25 3w stiff shaft
Sim 2 5w stiff stock shaft
Callaway Apex 4-hybrid stock stiff shaft
Callaway Apex DCB 5-AW elevate 85 stiff
Callaway Jaws 52, 56, 60
TaylorMade Rossa Siena 4 CGB putter
Step 3 – Which location is the closest Club Champion location to you?
Del Mar, CA
I would love the opportunity to get an actual fitting and new set of clubs that work for my game. I’ve played golf most of my life with my grandparents and dad. Recently I have really gotten back into it now that my kids are out of high school. 2 years ago I lost my mom. My dad who recently retired wants to golf all we can together now while he is in good health and shape. He is an 8hdcp. We play 3 times per month. I am currently 13 handicap which has improved the last 18 months. Would love to get fit correctly and continue working on my game. Goal is to be in single digits and play a few events with him.
Callaway rogue driver (spray everywhere)
Callaway ai smoke 3 wd
Callaway rogue hybrid
Mizuno 921 hot metal irons
Spider X putter
Never been fit. I go to local shop and hit off mats until something feels good. Bought previous years version on all except for 3 wd since that is all I could afford and still play.
Play Bridgestone balls.
Tigard Oregon is closest fitting. 2 hours north
Why do I need a fitting? Because since my last fitting I’ve put on a lot of weight and my swing has changed because of it
What’s in my bag? Callaway paradym driver, old Callaway steelhead 3 wood, Mizuno 241 irons, 3 Callaway wedges and an Odyssey putter
Closest store is in Salt Lake City. Didn’t even know they were that close!
My present set is in its 12th season, and it is shot. I caved the face of the 3-hybrid in a couple of rounds ago and the hosel is coming apart on the 8-iron. I would have done something to replace the clubs much sooner but for the last 5 1/2 years I have been my wife’s Caregiver as she battled through breast cancer. Now that the battle has been won there is time to get back on the course.
2. Current bag– Callaway Razr Fit Extreme Driver 9 degrees, Aldila Trinty 65-S shaft
3 wood-3 hybrid-4 hybrid–Callaway X2 Hot Aldila Tour ATX60-S shaft, stiff tipped
Irons & Wedges–Mizuno JPX-823 KBS Tour 130-X shafts
Putter–Scotty Cameron Newport 2
3. Robinson Township, PA
1) I have never had a full bag fitting. It would be incredibly awesome to geek out with a fitter and see what I gains I can get and maximize numbers to my advantage. I’m not smart enough to figure it out on a launch monitor myself.
2) 430 LST driver w/Ventus black TR 6x
Stealth+ 3 wood w/Trono 6x
G430 3h w/Ventus blue 10x
T200 4 iron/t150 5-pw w/axiom 125x
Sm9 48,54 w/axiom 125x
Ping Anser PLD w/TPZone35
3) Edina, MN
1. I’d love a full fitting mainly because I’ve never had one. I’ve been to a few demo days over the years and tested clubs at a local golf shop, but the selection and options are always quite thin. Between this site, the feedback and data from the few times I’ve been on a simulator, I’ve pretty much self fit my current setup. For example, I’m gaming a driver shaft I was “fit” into at a titleist demo day about 10 years ago. I’ve carried the same shaft over to 2 or 3 different drivers since. I recently reshafted my irons after hitting the apex pros in a shop, loving the club feel and balance, but deciding they may be too much club for me right now. So I put that shaft in my irons to try and recreate that feel. I feel my current setup is close, but it’s also “old” so I can’t help but wonder what I could be leaving on the table.
2. Current bag
Ping G400 driver, 10.5 set to 9.9. Whiteboard shaft, S
G25 4w. Not even sure the shaft
Adams 4h, 22* w stock shaft
Pins G400 5 crossover, 25*, w TT 115 mid s300 shaft.
Ping G25 irons 6-U w TT 115 mid s300 shafts.
Cleveland 56* first gen CBX wedge w 115 TT wedge shaft
Odyssey 1 putter w lots of lead tape on the bottom.
3. Club champion in Ridgeland MS

Zx5 irons, Bettinardi putter, tsr2 driver, cobra hybrid, pxg 3 wood, tsr2 7 wood, jaws wedges
Step 3 – Which location is the closest Club Champion location to you? Centennial Colorado, but if won willing to fly to Toronto for fitting
1) Need a fitting because I have nerver been fitted for any club in my bag and my driver sin like crazy. I think fitting is the next step to optimise my game
2) Driver: Callaway Epic Speed
3W: Cobra LTDx
2i: Ping 425 Crossover
Irons (4i-5i): Mizuno JPX 921 Forged

Putter: Artisan 0117

Step 1 – Share with us why you need a fitting? I’ve never had a fitting. I do a lot of reading, and go pick to the best of my knowledge. Guess I’ve not had one because I’m embarrassed about my swing.
Step 2 – Tell us What’s In Your Bag Currently? Tour Edge everything except a TM Spider putter.
Step 3 – Which location is the closest Club Champion location to you? Unsure which location is closest? Westlake, Ohio. Right in my back yard.
I have never been fitted for clubs and to be honest have not been able to afford the clubs that get pushed out by suppliers. My height is an issue with buying off the shelf clubs.
I bought my set of Titleist Tour Model 1986 irons(3-9) from EBAY practically unused. Was fitted a few years back for my TaylorMade M6 driver (10.5). Purchased a Scotty Cameron Putter, Titleist 917d2 3 wood and TaylorMade MG2 wedges 52-56-60 straight off the shelf.
I have a club champion near me in Louisville, KY.
Step 1 – I have been an avid golfer for years but have really taken it as my passion over the last 4 years after retiring from hockey. Golf gives me the competitive feeling back and I love it! I have been fit for a driver and wedges in the past and it makes such a big difference in your game. Getting the whole bag fit would be that next step towards plying better golf. Managing dispersion and getting the right clubs in my hands rather than being solely focused on price point can only make my game better and hopefully take a few strokes off my index.
Step 2 – Driver- Ping G430 LST with a kai’li white 60x, Sub 70 Pro Tour 3w with Hzrdus Smoke black x flex, Sub 70 Pro Tour 5w with Hzrdus Smoke red x flex, Sub 70 CB irons 4-6, and TC 7-pw with Project X 6.5, Titleist SM10 wedges 50 12F, 54 12D, 58 12D, Sub 70 001 putter.
Step 3 – Club Champion Mississauga! Been watching the TXG (CC) lads for a long time and their content and knowledge is second to none!
This guy need a fitting because I’ve never had one. I’ve been learning the game the past several years and have the golf bug, but know I can play better if I had clubs that actually fit me. I got a hand me down set from my late uncle who at one time was my size but I grew -a lot- and my 6’4” frame doesn’t fit my irons that were from my 5’8” uncle. I have to be creative in my iron and wedge selections too. I’m hitting farther and seriously don’t have the right degrees-loft- bounce on them which makes golf even harder. And I’m a poor college kid. lol. I need all the help I can get in so many ways. Next up is lessons to elevate my game even more.
In my Bag Currently is Calloway Irons and 3W and Driver-A tad old and short. Also a top flight driver- my other late uncle left that for me who was a little taller. I’m so bad with the driver though so I mostly rely on my 3W.
The closest Club Champion location to me is Westlake OH.
Thank you for this amazing opportunity,
1) I have recently got back in to golf after a 30+ year lay off. Older body , but younger golf brain = chaos ?.
2) Set of used Stealth Irons 5h to pw and Taylor made 50/56/60 wedges. Cobra LTDx driver, Sim24 hybrid, Wilson putter.
3) Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

1. Because my clubs are 30 years old. I am playing with hand me down irons for the most part.
2. 4-PW Ping ISI, Driver, 3W, 5W = Taylor Made Burner, 52, 56, 60 wedges = Titleist Vokey Wedges, Putter Odyssey Two Ball
3. There is one on 42nd street in NYC I would go to.
1. I need this fitting because my bag is full of old hand me down clubs that don’t fit me and I’m in need a whole retool after getting back into the game after an extended absence.
2. Driver is a Callaway Razr Fit Xtreme. 3 and 5 woods are Turbo Power S.S. 750s. Irons are all Ping G10s from 4-AW. I’ve got an old Callaway forged copper 56 and an even older Ben Sayer Scottish wedge.
3. Nearest club champion location to me is in Charlottesville, VA.

I think you meant “spin”, but “sin” works too!
1. I am currently a 5 handicap and feel like I have hit a wall with how much I can improve my game. I do believe this is largely due to my clubs not being optimized to my setup and swing as I have not been fit to any of the clubs in my bag. I do have a large golf-related TikTok page (@willrobsgolf) with 21k followers, to which I will heavily promote the fitting experience with ClubChampion and The Hacker’s Paradise. My wife and I have also experienced financial turmoil over the past 2 years due to infertility problems and this competition would be a huge boost to our emotional well-being!
2. Old Titleist driver and woods, old Srixon irons, old vokey wedges, old scotty putter
3. Nearest Club Champion is Oklahoma City, OK
What an incredible opportunity… thank you!
1) I was fitted through Club Champion last year through the free promotion, but unfortunately could not justify purchasing the clubs with my wedding approaching. I was an 18 handicap at the time which has been improving with a few lessons along the way. Now that I am a ~15/16 handicap, I would love to get re-fit and see how much of a change would be made for the adjustments made in my swing.
2) Mizuno STG Driver, STG 3 wood, TaylorMade burner 5 wood, ZX5 MKII irons, mixed bag of wedges with Mizuno and Cleveland, and an M-Craft Type II putter.
3) Center Valley, PA is the closest Club Champion to me.
1)I got the current equipment in 2016, i.e. 8 years ago. Because I play 2-4 times a week and I have certainly improved a lot over the years. Also the equipment is already showing signs of wear.
It would be time for new equipment and maybe this will lead to better results. Since every stroke counts, why not do it with the right equipment for the best result.
2)Driver and Hybrid 4 – Callaway XR16
Irons Titleist 716 AP1
Wedge – Titleist Vokey SM5 50,54,58
Putter-cleveland TFI 2135 v1
It starts to resemble a retro set 🙂
3) Crawley
I have had the same clubs that I bought off the rack so many years ago. I have a shallow swing that I know needs a proper set up.
Currently my bag has a titlest ts3 driver. A mavrik 3 wood and 3 hybrid. A Callaway apex 5 hybrid. My irons are Calloway apex 19 with a damaged and caved in 9 iron. I have vokey sm9 wedges
Step 3 – Closest club to me is Mississauga
I need a fitting because I have always purchased clubs I can get at a good deal, rather than getting something that fits my swing (changes constantly lol). I’m sure if I get a true fitting, I would shave a few strokes off my game.
Mavrik driver, mavrik 4 hybrid, rogue st max 3 wood, zx5 mkII 4-p, Kirkland wedge set, Kirkland putter. All my clubs are x stiff minus the wedges.
Hartford, CT
Step 1 – Share with us why you need a fitting?
I have been buying clubs off the shelf for years and I think it’s time to justify the price and experience a fitter brings to the table to help my golf game.
Step 2 – Tell us What’s In Your Bag Currently?
TSR3 9 degree
TSR2+ 3 wood
M6 5 wood
4-P M2 irons
SM10 54 and 58
Taylormade my spider

I can go to any location in Ontario pretty much. Mississauga and Toronto being probably the closest.
1 & 2. I have never had the opportunity to be fitted for golf clubs. The set I currently own is from middle school, some 35 years ago. I usually borrow clubs from family and friends when I go out.
3. Royal Oak, Michigan
Winner announced in two days!! Would be incredible to win!!
Step 1 – Share with us why you need a fitting?
I’ve never been fit, so that’s good reason in and of itself.
However, I think I need a fitting because I’m on the taller side, so I may need longer than stock shaft length and different lie setup for a more optimal setup.
Step 2 – Tell us What’s In Your Bag Currently?
It’s a mishmash of clubs
Driver is a Taylormade Burner 2.0 with stock shaft
5 wood is a Tour Edge E723 with stock shaft (Tensei)
5 iron – 7 iron, 9 iron, and gap wedge are Cobra LTDx in KBS 90 stiff
8 iron, 9 iron Taylormade Burner 3.0 in KBS 90 stiff
(yes 2 9 irons, but they have different uses)
56 degree PXG 0311
60 degree Vokey SM8
Putter is Odyssey OG white hot #1
Step 3 – Which location is the closest Club Champion location to you? Orlando, Turkey Lake Rd.
1) and 2) I can answer both of these. My clubs are so old that the only badging they have on them is “USA” I have zero idea who makes them. The heads are very tiny and shafts aren’t long enough. I’m an aspiring single digit handicapper that would appreciate this opportunity.
3) Highlands Ranch, CO
Thanks, and best of luck.
Peter
1) I got fitted for a driver once. It improved my game, and now it’d be great to get fitted for an entire bag.
2) A bunch of Callaway stuff. MAVRIK Max irons. MAVRIK Fairway woods. A Paradym X. Kirkland Signature wedges. An Odyssey 2Ball Ten putter.
3. Literally have one that just opened less than a mile from my house in Albany, NY.
Step 1- Share with us why you need a fitting?
Got into golf within the last year. Never did a fitting, just self fit based off of online reviews. Have spent decent amount of money already on clubs that probably don’t fit me. Looking to get clubs in order to help my game.
Step 2 – Tell us What’s In Your Bag Currently?
Driver- Ping g425 Max, Callaway super hybrid 2, Titleist U505 3 irons, Cobra Darkspeed One Length Irons (prefer variable length now), Cleveland full face 2 wedges, Callaway ai one jailbird mini putter (love both the putter and wedges)
Step 3 – Which location is the closest Club Champion location to you?
Nashville,TN
1. I have been playing the same hybrids/irons clubs that I bought used in 2015 from kijiji. I have no idea if they are good for me or not and want to see how they stack up vs newer technology. I think I get pretty decent numbers out of the irons, carry wise, and okay stopping power but like I said they are the only clubs I’ve used. I’ve tinkered with my bag adding to it through the years so I have a full set with scoring wedges, woods, driver etc. I’ve been playing a lot more the last 2 years and have been considering buying some newer clubs but don’t really know where to start.
2. PXG 0311XF Gen 5 driver
TaylorMade super steel burner 3 wood (yes, the bubble shaft)
Adams Idea A7 hybrids (3 and 4)
Adams Idea A7 irons (5 to PW)
Mizuno MP R12 50°, 54°
Vokey SM9 58°
Mazel Tour GS putter
3. The closest CC is in Mississauga (I am okay with a video Ian and Mike lol)
Well, who doesn’t need a full bag fitting but, my driver that I got fitted for at CC is old, same with my 3 wood. My gapping is not good and I swing too hard for usual stock shafts and CC has the best opportunity to get me the most appropriate clubs down to my wedges
Currently have titleist woods, mizuno irons and wedges. L.A.B putter.
Christiana Delaware location is closest to me.

I need a fitting because I’ve finally outgrown my ultra starter set of 10 golf clubs(now 11) and need clubs that will allow me to work the ball and get make more progress towards scratch! I’m a college student so it’s hard to get time/money together in the school year for stuff like this. If I win I could gift my new buddy my set too so win win I guess.
Currently in my bag is the “Stix” 10 club set that I’ve added a stix 52° too as well. Unfortunately all ultra game improvement style with high flex shafts but great for a new player and cheap since they are DTC (and fairly unknown pretty nice for what it is) but more of a hinderance now to me as I’ve gotten better form and a faster swing!
Beautiful San Jose baby!
Would love to win and get fit for some new sticks!
1. I want to have the best clubs for my game and see if I should be playing a different setup based on my individual swing and needs. Not always easy to self-diagnose your swing and know exactly what clubs fit you best.

I’ve been working a lot on my game the past few months and taking some lessons. Have finally made it to the next “plateau” where I can finally break 80 somewhat consistently. The last time I was fit for clubs my plateau was breaking 90 consistently and my game/swing has changed dramatically since then. I’ve added a few non-fit clubs along the way to try to help with issues I was having (ex. got a 2i, then sold it and got a 5w). Feel like I’m really getting close to playing good golf and could benefit from clubs fitted for my current skill, and not my skill a few years ago before putting in extra effort. Irons feel a little big, woods need more loft/spin, and really want to change putter head shapes…currently play a blade and feel very uncomfortable from inside 5ft. Really happy with my progress but think a bag refresh could help clean up my game and take me to the next level!
Current Setup:
Driver: Stealth + 9 degree
3w: Stealth
5w: TSI2
4-P: P790
G,S,L wedges: Vokey SM8
Putter: SC Newport
Closest CC is the San Carlos, CA location.
1. I have spent a lot of time fitting myself over the years but believe there is a lot I have missed compared to a Club Champion fitting. Would love to see the impact of a professional fitting.

Thanks, and good luck everyone!
1. I would love a full bag fitting that was t based on what’s in my bag. A fitting that is based on swing only. If results show game improvement are best over players or players distance that’s what I want in bag. Previous fittings were done with clubs that are in same category as my current clubs. I want a bag that is full of what’s best for my swing.
