I don’t miss many live events but when I do…the FOMO is real…. Just started the replay…. Tuesday Bourbon in hand
The way they fit/build a putter really is unique and amazing. It’s basically 100% fit and customized to you from top to bottom.
Aim, Speed, Path; everyone should want to be fit for a putter with these in mind!
Eager to learn more about the ‘new product’, and this contest sounds like it will be amazing!
I really liked the look of the 5.0!
I now want to go get fit for Edel and the contest is crazy!
I just have some stock wedges and a standard putter in my bag. A fitting from Club Champion and Edel would be a HUGE change!
Never been to Chicago either … except as a stop over in the airport. I’d love to play some golf there with a new confident stroke
I also can’t wait to learn more about the new product, seems to be some sort of fresh take on wedge fitting, if they apply their logical approach to wedges too this could be a game changer.
3M total variations possible from that fitting cart. ? Edel being able to fit for stroke, alignment, AND pace has me curious if I’m leaving something on the table with my current hoard of putters.
Edel’s take on wedges seems pretty common sense as well. Once I can get to the point where how I want to use the wedge and how I actually use it matches I’ll have to try to go through a fitting.
Looking forward to seeing the new product and who the lucky THPer is.
I really can’t stop thinking about it. I was SO sure that a flat top helped my initial setup, but Koske wasn’t wrong when he talked about how much we rely on proper grip alignment – and then add on the fact that people’s unique arm hang should play a bigger role on how they hold the putter in general..
How many tour pros use a round grip? a flat side has been a go to on putter grips for a very long time. Maybe the best set up I have had was when I twisted a super stroke large 90 degrees so that the flat side laid into my right hand. It felt great. But it was on an original Scotty Phantom which I just grew to hate.
Better question: How many tour pros put on their own grips or have local shops do it?
Good point. But if we lead with the premise of correct installation. How many use flat vs round….I can’t think of one round tour pro.
All variables out the door, sure – I’m comfortable with that (minus the natural arm hang logic). But I struggle with doing that.
Agree Natural Arm Hang is the secret elixir.
I think the Edel round is great, but I need more room on top for my grip. Tried the Edel flat top but it’s too wide and a tad uncomfy. Going with old-time GP.
I’d get fit … if Artisan wasn’t fitting me.
