Great point about checking the lie angles after a period of use. Sounds like GolfTEC is doing a great job.
Good show JB & Doug. I was just at GolfTec last week and they offered to include this session if I bought a lesson / practice package. It sounds pretty awesome and the shaft stiffness example is something I am sure most of us take for granted. Good work!
Thanks to Doug from GolfTEC for being on the show! The discussion on frequency is pretty interesting, it is definitely something that I take for granted. That was very good dialogue on the lofts/lie angles changing over time, I always tended to assume that it was me doing something different but this is definitely something to have checked after playing them for 6 months or so.
The description of the set evaluation is pretty in depth, seems like a decent deal for $149. Another solid show!!
Wow! That was a lot of great information. Thanks so much for such a great radio show. I really want to go and get my irons checked now. Great job guys.
Good stuff and it pertains to some recent conversations I’ve had with a fitter. One thing I’ll be doing prior to the MC is checking my lofts and lies. We’ve also talked about frequeny fitting and his experience has been similar to what Doug mentioned.
Great show JB & Doug, loved the show. Tons of information and I am sure everyone would be interested in this service from GolfTec. Get example from JB about never assuming that lies and loft will change no matter the club head material.
I think I will be making a trip to ATL before the outing to make sure everything is as it sould be. $149 for fitting and evulation is pretty good value IMO. I agree with the worse case senario statement, at least you will know what clubs actually fit you and you can make decisions from there.
I had one of these included in the package I purchased. It definitely didn’t take 90 minutes. It was more like 30 minutes. Very disappointing. It definitely didn’t include a lot of what was mentioned. Definitely not what I was expecting.
Wow, I’m on information overload here. So much great info in that show, thanks Doug and JB!
Another great THP Radio segment packed with information. I wasn’t aware there could be potentially so much variation with-in my set. If there is one thing I have learned on this site is the importance of the ight equipment.
I can’t say enough about Golftec and all they do. Thanks for the reminder!
Good listen!
Hi Adam, Thanks for your comment. Our 30-minute Set Analysis is included in some of Improvement Plans. It’s significantly less comprehensive than the product Doug discusses in the interview as it is approximately one third of the time of the Set Evaluation. We appreciate you as a client and hope you’ve been enjoying the rest of your lessons!
