Interesting show guys! JB, it sounds like you really like the XGC. I was considering the OnPar model. I know it’s a bit more expensive, but I like the idea of it tracking the clubs in your bag and their average distances over time. Does the XGC have a comparable feature in that regard or is OnPar still the best option for “bonus” features like that?

  2. Administrator says:

Both are great devices. And if that is a feature you are looking for, I would say the OnPar is the device for you. We will have both of these units out at the FL Golf Outing for people to test and perhaps even a contest or two.

  3. Will G says:

Also, does the OnPar take long to triangulate once you’re at your ball? Just remembered you mentioning that you saw that as an issue with some other GPS devices compared to the XGC.

  4. Administrator says:

The OnPar is relatively fast. But nothing on the market we have tried is as fast as the Bushnell.

Good stuff guys! Just saw one on sale and came back here to check it out. Good discussion! I had no ideas the pros used distance lasers in the days before tourneys…
