Titleist AIM 360 AVX and Tour Soft Golf Balls

When it comes to more alignment aids on golf balls, time has certainly changed perception and acceptance, both for we consumers as well as some of the manufacturers as well. As time has moved, we have witnessed companies who previously stayed on the traditional and conservative side of things begin to broaden their horizons.

To be sure, Titleist is an example of such philosophical evolution. While we aren’t likely to be seeing the brand get as wild and crazy as other brands have with their alignment designs, today marks quite the jump for them all the same. Yes, they will be quick to inform that since 2007 they have used additional features on the side stamps, but this is different, and meaningful.

Titleist AIM 360

It is fitting that the bigger departure for Titleist is coming to two golf ball designs which themselves once felt that way when they were introduced. With the name “AIM 360” you likely have some expectation of what is to come, and you would be correct. This is Titleist’s foray into a 360-degree alignment marking, and visually it is well done.

The first thing that will stand out is this is a much more narrow variation on the full 360-degree alignment than we have seen from other brands, and it fits well with what you would expect from Titleist. A key aspect to AIM 360 is how bold the lines are, as well as the inclusion of color for the middle alignment line, green for AVX and blue for the Tour Soft. Both will be available online and at retail starting 6/2/25.

Titleist Performance Alignment

The more subdued of the two new options, the “Performance Alignment”, it is a fitting addition to the most popular golf ball lineup in all of professional golf, the Pro V family which includes Pro V1, Pro V1x and Pro V1x Left Dash. This particular alignment feature mimics the single straight line which many recreational and Tour golfers add to their golf balls.

With four different color options (black, pink, red, blue), the Performance Alignment line is on the opposite side of each ball from the standard aid. This line uses a dual-arrow end to aid in target line setup, it is 65% longer than the traditional sidestamp design. Previously only available in black on their website, all four colors will be available online and in golf shops beginning 6/15/25.

The Details

This is a fun step for Titleist as they work to blend their standards and demands with the trends that we are currently seeing within golf balls across the industry. Both AIM 360 and Performance Alignment certainly walk that tightrope, though it will be interesting to watch their overall reception by golfers.

The AVX AIM 360 is priced at $50 while the Tour Soft AIM 360’s come in at $40. The Performance Alignment Pro V family is priced at $55 per dozen. For more information on availability along with the brands other options, check out www.titleist.com
