When it comes to more alignment aids on golf balls, time has certainly changed perception and acceptance, both for we consumers as well as some of the manufacturers as well. As time has moved, we have witnessed companies who previously stayed on the traditional and conservative side of things begin to broaden their horizons.
To be sure, Titleist is an example of such philosophical evolution. While we aren’t likely to be seeing the brand get as wild and crazy as other brands have with their alignment designs, today marks quite the jump for them all the same. Yes, they will be quick to inform that since 2007 they have used additional features on the side stamps, but this is different, and meaningful.
Titleist AIM 360

It is fitting that the bigger departure for Titleist is coming to two golf ball designs which themselves once felt that way when they were introduced. With the name “AIM 360” you likely have some expectation of what is to come, and you would be correct. This is Titleist’s foray into a 360-degree alignment marking, and visually it is well done.

The first thing that will stand out is this is a much more narrow variation on the full 360-degree alignment than we have seen from other brands, and it fits well with what you would expect from Titleist. A key aspect to AIM 360 is how bold the lines are, as well as the inclusion of color for the middle alignment line, green for AVX and blue for the Tour Soft. Both will be available online and at retail starting 6/2/25.
Titleist Performance Alignment
The more subdued of the two new options, the “Performance Alignment”, it is a fitting addition to the most popular golf ball lineup in all of professional golf, the Pro V family which includes Pro V1, Pro V1x and Pro V1x Left Dash. This particular alignment feature mimics the single straight line which many recreational and Tour golfers add to their golf balls.

With four different color options (black, pink, red, blue), the Performance Alignment line is on the opposite side of each ball from the standard aid. This line uses a dual-arrow end to aid in target line setup, it is 65% longer than the traditional sidestamp design. Previously only available in black on their website, all four colors will be available online and in golf shops beginning 6/15/25.
The Details
This is a fun step for Titleist as they work to blend their standards and demands with the trends that we are currently seeing within golf balls across the industry. Both AIM 360 and Performance Alignment certainly walk that tightrope, though it will be interesting to watch their overall reception by golfers.

The AVX AIM 360 is priced at $50 while the Tour Soft AIM 360’s come in at $40. The Performance Alignment Pro V family is priced at $55 per dozen. For more information on availability along with the brands other options, check out www.titleist.com.
Great writeup! I love the new colors as options!
Very nice write-up. It’s good to see Titleist coming out with more alignment options. Those of us who were lucky enough to be at the Titleist Golf Ball Experience at Briggs Ranch did get to see some of these options and I know a few were looking for that performance alignment line hoping it would be availabe. Now it is.
I personally would love to see the AIM 360 alignment make it’s way to the Pro V1x, even if just as a special order option.
The AIM 360 looks so good on the AVX.
Nice options there. Agree Aim 360 in ProV1 would be great too.
I think the color center line on these really enhances the appearance of the alignment aid.
Love seeing options but will have to see in hand. It seems bolder than the enhanced alignment option. Not sure I’m a fan.
Nice write up @Jman
Pretty cool to see the options for color here.
I’m always a fan of factory alignment aids, that way I don’t have to worry about whether the ones I usually draw are perfectly straight or not
Wonder what prompted this? I’m a fan of Titleist stepping outside of the super classic we just give you the og line lane, but wonder why they did?
I know you mentioned this as well in the article about them always being very classic in design, but i like them stepping out into new territory.
I’m a fan of how Titleist does alignment aids. The AIM 360 is right up my alley.
I like that Titleist balls are plain, but a ProV1X with that red line on the side is a good looking ball.
Good write up @Jman
Fun stuff on the alignment
I like this AIM360 a lot.

But is the ball?
Unfortunately not lol
Edit: Could probably make Tour Soft work.
Options are a good thing
Definitely one of the better alignment aids I’ve seen. Not a fan of the AVX, however if I was I’d definitely consider picking some of these up.
Will be picking up a box of the Tour Soft Aim 360.
looks way better than the triple track color scheme.
I would think that the next step might be to release Aim 360 into the ProV1 and the ProV1x lines if this first step is popular.
I dig these. I like this take on the 360 better than a lot of the other manufacturers that make it look like an easter egg wrap.
The AIM 360 looks great and the AVX is a wonderful ball. Looks like just white for now and not yellow. Hope that changes eventually. Also dig the option to get some pink on a ProV.
Great write-up per usual @Jman
I definitely like the 360. As someone who has really focused on aligning the ball these days it’s great having these options to get to see line rolling
Nice options, but I like the simpler, more clean look of the single lines or old arrows on the side of the ball. Good write up and glad to see more options!
Big fan of how the inner line contrasts, absolutely love that Green/Black combo. AVX is not a good fit for me, though.
I like these alignment options. Now get this on the Pro v1 and pro v1x balls!
The enhanced alignment is good but always nice to have more options
I really like these. I always have trouble with the smaller alignment aids, which is one of the reasons I like the Srixon Divides so much. Just easier to line up for me. I like that these keep it clean looking. They are really well done.

The pink one stood out to me too.
It’s definitely nice to see them be wiling to expand this direction, it’s so out of character for the brand still
I love a 360° alignment aid.
Kind of surprised that Titleist jumped into the 360 game. Might be a sign it’s more than just a fad.
Once this becomes available I’ll add it to my ProV1 3 month auto order. I like the new alignment on the AVX as well (y)
I like this idea, I hope they bring it to a yellow ball
Kudos to Titleist for getting with the times. Its interesting that they only chose these 2 balls for this treatment though. Wonder if it ever becomes and option, even if custom for the ProV Family.
