Last month the Titleist TSi driver line debuted when it began hitting tour bags and appeared on the USGA conforming list. Today the lineup becomes official with the TSi 2 and TSi 3 drivers and fairway woods.
We have spent the last few weeks testing them in the THP Tech Studio and in this video have a little bit of everything. Since the release is new, we thought it best to cover the gamut in this video rather than just the testing. First up will be Josh Talge, VP of Marketing of Titleist Golf Clubs talking tech and then we move right into the data and break it down for you.
We have a lot more coming on the Titleist TSi drivers and fairway woods in the coming weeks, but after watching this video what are your thoughts?
Pleasing sound and looks good at address.
Long knocker! Nice playing! Love the TSi2. Do you play it on standard A1?
C3 position.
Are you looking at all at the Rogue’s this year?
I got this driver late last fall and really like it. Probably going to stick with it, just waiting on a Ventus Red shaft to show up for it. Really consistent for me and lets me play a nice draw.
I have no doubt the Rogues are good this year but not ready for an upgrade.
Riptide caught on to your plan.
Not to that extreme, but I also had inconsistent results with the TSi2/Black RDX 6.0 combo. It was Jekyll and Hyde crazy – and I was kicking myself for not getting the TSi3.
So, shaft change and, after a brief struggle with It, the TSi2/Kinetixx Velocity D30 combo has become the most consistent driver that I can remember playing.
Pure fairway finder with consistent launch and flight.
Weren’t you seeing some pretty large variances in spin with the Stealth driver? I am getting old and forgetful, but it seems like you mentioned it in the other thread.
I found the TSi2 to vary more with spin than the TSi3. It actually was another example for me to confirm that I tend to do better with lower spinning heads. When I hit the TSi2 solid, it was fantastic, but over a round of golf, I simply hit the TSi3 more consistently, both as to dispersion and distance.
That is a crazy amount of spin variance!!! I wish I had a monitor to get some #’s to see what is going on with mine, but I am still hitting a lot of fairways so not to concerned.
This needs to happen as I think it will help those toe misses. This has been a great driver for me so far and putting a Ventus Red in it tonight and will have it on course this weekend.

I wiped the bottom off before putting it back in the bag.
Apparently no matter what shaft I use, or how long I put it away, I’m destined to only hit the TSi3 in that same. damn. spot.
And there are still hardly any drivers that do as well for me in that location.
If you have a driver that performs as well or better, and never have the urge to reach for another one, regardless of how awesome it’s been, … is there a point to keeping it around??
Go with the fairway finder that provides the most forgiveness.
This ^ type of club
————— (This is a wide divide btw)
My clubs. Lol
I think it did its duty. Time to set it free.
I am very much a person that likes to get rid of things I am not using. I try to just have basically one bag and not switch or have too much extra laying around to create doubts.
im no @OldandStiff but seem to be doing just fine with this guy

First 18 of the year with this bad boy in tow. It had to wait a little to be pulled, but the first par 5 was…interesting. I came out of the swing and caught it low. There is a pond in front that goes out quite a ways. Fortunately it was like a missile and cleared it ending up way short but dry. Not the best start but par was obtained thanks to my DI getting me to wedge distance.
Next hole to use it I held off and it just drifted a bit. Today was CPO and was trying to get next to the cart path. Was testing the CSXLS and thankfully it held true to lower spin and didn’t take off way right. Still hit the cart path and bounced OOB into some bushes. My bad.
Had this happen again on a hole with an ally up the left side and a pond right. Held off again and same drift, this time to the showers.
Even though I lost two balls this round, I was actually happy to see errant shots not go way off course. Well they did go off the course? but I can live with the better bad performance from me, haha.
The TSi4, aside from my inability to be consistent, was on fire. When I committed and finished it can just put the full send on the ball. I was playing the new CSXLS today and visually it looks to be less spinny off the tee. When this happens, I get roll and the ball just goes.
It got me a shot at 2 eagles today. One was a par5 and I missed the short putt?.
The other was a Par4. I usually don’t play the whites and had started out on the blues. Our 4th left with his attitude thankfully so I moved up to play with the husband. I moved back to the blues after this hole.
Didn’t account for the downhill portion and the fact that I would just put everything together full send. I said uh oh as soon as I looked up. He said no, that is a great shot and I said too good. He hit and we went up to let his wife hit. I went ahead to look.
Fortunately I waited for them to get on the green before hitting as I saw my ball on the green. I excused myself and drove ahead to apologize. They were very nice about it and said it hit a little short of the green and rolled up on them but nice shot.
I didn’t track this one from the box, wish I would have. Being down hill and at elevation the number on the pic is not actual just for clarification. The ball ended up pin high left in the pic about 20ish feet away.

Yes, I made the long putt for Eagle! Yup, was a long post, but that hole made my year thus far.
Swing is kind of in a bad spot right now with driver but will keep at it.
My buddy hadn’t seen this combo yet and he wasn’t pleased with what it gave me. I didn’t mind it as I waited for him to hit his approach and continue a ways up the fairway for my approach. He was none to happy when I hit my longest drive dead center of fairway in a very long time.
Still giving me that lower ball flight and some roll. He said, "I think you finally found the combo. Such a penetrating flight with less spin and you need to get rid off it.". Haha he wasn’t happy about it the whole round.
He is right except the last part.
I don’t think they can improve, prove me wrong Titleist!
TSi 3 arrived from HQ and I’ve cured a new LIN-Q M40x Black 6F5 in it to debut today. Right to the course, no range, not getting to know you time.
I love looking at it at address, I LOVE the sound on impact andI drive it plenty far still. That said please don’t bookmark this post if I change my mind at any point in the near future lol
It’s the best “traditional” sound out there imo. For composite sound, the TM drivers still get the nod, but this is super pleasing and enjoyable.
Certainly doesn’t suck
wow wow wow!! The TSI is really good. I have randomly put it back in the bag the last couple months. It does everything well.
Flatter flight for me than Stealth, and lower spin too
Hmm. That’s interesting.
