Last month the Titleist TSi driver line debuted when it began hitting tour bags and appeared on the USGA conforming list. Today the lineup becomes official with the TSi 2 and TSi 3 drivers and fairway woods.
We have spent the last few weeks testing them in the THP Tech Studio and in this video have a little bit of everything. Since the release is new, we thought it best to cover the gamut in this video rather than just the testing. First up will be Josh Talge, VP of Marketing of Titleist Golf Clubs talking tech and then we move right into the data and break it down for you.
We have a lot more coming on the Titleist TSi drivers and fairway woods in the coming weeks, but after watching this video what are your thoughts?
How did this happen??
I was in a Mizuno event and a Morgan Cup with Cobra during that time. My driver spot was pretty locked up. I think I hit this head and the 2 5-6 times at THP HQ maybe though.
Well I’m glad you’re getting some time in with it, because it’s awesome.
Aaand because really kind of want to hear how much better you think the new ones are when you’re getting to hit them.
But more importantly…I’m not sure there’s a better looking shape at setup than this one. Im pretty much still in awe over it.
Your making me want to put my tsi back in the bag.
My biggest knock on the Stealth? It looks cheap. This? Well, you already know there’s nothing cheap looking about it hahahaha
should I go 3 or 4?View attachment 9104108
I drove 4 greens with this TSi3.
Sold the Stealth today. @jdtox @Canadan
Yup!! She gone!
Temptation no more!
You must be drooling over the TSR coming out soon then ??
You were looking for that divorce right out of the gate.
I will be honest I am keen to try the tSR line. Looks so good.
I’m excited to get to compare my friend!
I will say, the TSi3 here has really surprised me. I’m a little upset I waited to hit it until now, but it does all the things I ask for, and in probably the best looking shape out there
I am actually surprised that with as much equipment gets through your hands for testing, you hadn’t tried it before now. I really think it is one of the best heads released by any OEM in the last few years.
Can’t wait to try the R line when it comes out!
If you remember I said I didn’t really care for the sound, well that’s been changing a lot. I’m really liking this driver as well over the 915 D3 I had for a few years.
the TSI fairway woods are so good too…I can’t wait to hit the TSR stuff.
Are you going to look into the new release?
That is why I wondered. Every time I move on from a driver that really works for me, I regret it.
I hear ya! When I was fitted for mine, the spec sheet said +4g, so my TSi2 has had ~12g weight from day one (and 1/4-inch short). Unreal fairway finder.
Isn’t it amazing how we can’t leave good enough alone? Glad you are having so much success.
After that confidence was back to SEND mode and had a monster and the right side was no more! Woo-Hoo!
I think it knows what’s coming out!
You can also see why I said what I said in the "how would you rank your putting" thread.

It’s tremendous. For me, it’s a do it all head, not the highest ball speed I’ve gotten this year (that remains LTDx LS) but damn close.
It has. ?
this has me 2nd guessing going with the LTDx LS to "play with"…it’s really good. it hasn’t got me the way the stealth and Max LS did but it’s good…but i’ve never even swung a titleist driver (or any of their woods and hybrids)…maybe it’s time.
I will introduce him to his new brother soon and see what he has to say.
Lots of great drivers out there right now!
So I sense a trade in in the works. No duck hooks?
That’s a swing thing, no?
Yes generally.
I still had a pull a couple times but not a major hook. That could be the extra stiff shaft though compared the the stiff I usually use. My miss was right with the TSi3 and I’m guessing that’s because of the flex.
More bombs inbound!!!!!
If you have any TSR questions I’m happy to help and there’s also a TSR thread with lots of info.
That is the one reason the TSR tickled my fancy to replace my TSi (just picked up TSR2 head), usually the new models are essentially the same but with the TSi2 vs TSr2 the shape/look is different + the performance numbers i.e. gaining ball speed is hard to ignore. Been putting it thru the ringer in my garage sim, can’t wait to see how it performs on the course.
The shape on the TSR2 is different, more in line with the old TSi3 (rounder). Feel is similar tho, however my numbers were not noticeably better between the two for me. If anything I was able to keep the club face squarer/turn over my TSi2 easier and had essentially the same launch/spin/ball speed/distance. In the end I ended up sticking with my gamer TSi2 and realized from all the data that I really need explore shaft options to get my spin/launch up a bit, in turn that will help me carry the ball further/increase overall distance. Still love all the new Titleist goodies, not to mention my T200 irons (things are phenomenal).
