Last month the Titleist TSi driver line debuted when it began hitting tour bags and appeared on the USGA conforming list. Today the lineup becomes official with the TSi 2 and TSi 3 drivers and fairway woods.
We have spent the last few weeks testing them in the THP Tech Studio and in this video have a little bit of everything. Since the release is new, we thought it best to cover the gamut in this video rather than just the testing. First up will be Josh Talge, VP of Marketing of Titleist Golf Clubs talking tech and then we move right into the data and break it down for you.
We have a lot more coming on the Titleist TSi drivers and fairway woods in the coming weeks, but after watching this video what are your thoughts?
Titleist is being pretty stingy with those weights to the fitters around here. They don’t want to give up the ones they have. Anyone seen an ordering option pop up anywhere online yet?
Haven’t seen anything official yet and have yet to see the official weight kit for sale either. Did Titleist ever sell them individually or was it always the full on weight kit for TS?
I’m guessing in the new year we’ll see Billy Bob and the ebay sellers have weights available.
I don’t know..
Yeah, that’s my guess too. I can usually get the guys here to hook me up with something like that from the build room, but they only have enough/their initial ones for the actual fittings sessions. Saying Titleist doesn’t want to just send them to them without a head build. Almost like they’d have to send the head in on a simple re-fit so far just to get the right weights.
I wonder if Titleist will even do the 2 weight build from the factory. Especially with no more black weight available making the 1" under build not really practical anymore.
I shall take that kind of forgiveness. Mhm.
Still all frowny faced that my driver is stiiiiilllllllllll MIA…..
I ordered my driver on 11-6, just got it today.
I feel lucky that my driver and 3 wood appeared in about a week.
So random on what takes time and what doesn’t.
They really are the sexiest drivers. Gorgeous.
What were your thoughts on how the RDX and the AD DI compared?
Just BRUTAL.
I can share a bunch of TSi tee-crushing vids if you need
a good cryto see/hear exactly how much fun they’re robbing ya of..
Haha You’re probably gonna have to get used to that!
Because when I look at my TSi specific numbers

I get a little
It’s gonna be so fun when you get it.
Not many. Handful maybe? I took 2 penalties (same round) blowing through the fairway into creeks though. Bound not to last, but it’s been a real fun honeymoon.
Edit: oh, and one hit a fence to stay in bounds on a little double cross, so it would have been in the far left section, but came back a bit. GPS at the ball.
My TSi2 fw is like…..
This makes me sad. Especially because the 3W and I have been exponentially less awesome together. Really wish my order had been right and I had the 2 fairway instead of the 3.
Have you been playing the TSi3 fairway? Is it the look that you don’t care for?
Yeah, that’s what I have. If by look you mean at address, yes, but it’s more than just the actual look. It’s a gorgeous club. I picked out the 2 because it sits more open and I’m fine with playing a little more launch and spin (which I got with the 2) until late spring when things dry up again. Why the 3 sits more closed than the 2 I will never understand. It’s totally backwards imo, and I’ve had to work harder than I’d like to keep it off the left side. That effort has me down somewhere in the range of 6-9 yards vs my sub zero 3W, with less control.

That’s awful.
Well that’s a little disheartening
Get home and my water boiler went!
????????????????????
I’m telling myself you’re being saved from catching a nasty case of Covid from someone at the course, or a car accident by staying home to meet a service person or something, because otherwise you’re just getting a big **** sandwich served to you all the sudden.
Hey, its all good. I’m grateful for it all. Whatever, ish happens. And now I’m drinking so life is good. ?
I will say, I’m gonna see if the store credit option is available for the fw. Not sure I loved the setup of it. Crazy how much loft it seems to have in comparison to the TS2. If store cred is off the table, I might try and switch from the 16.5 to the 15.
yes, in the tsi2. i liked it ok. felt very loose. contact went down on the head. tensei blue av seemed to be much better for me.

Thanks. I like the blue but think I need to try the kuro kage.
I have just enough room to swing driver, but still feel a bit constrained. Seem to hit it low on the face. Need to get it on the range. I have it in A2 and am not sure if that is the best setting right now, but still need to dial it in on the range and course.
All were hard to separate but the titleist had slightly better numbers, felt the best and I felt most confident with it. Very expensive though and I can’t remember hitting the Ping much off line either.
And then Titleist happened…
i have a fresh ventus blue 7x I am going to get ripped up for this.. pretty stoked. The RDX black is great as well.
tapped up to get to D4.

I mean, I’m happy for you that you got it, but tell me you’re gonna hot melt that once you decide you like the setup??
nope. No hot melt for me..
Is it just for swingweight or do you like how it’s distributed like that. I’m just asking because 1. it’s a sexy driver to cover up and 2. I don’t seem many people tape ones that have interchangeable weights or accessible ports.
I did this on my current driver to get it to swing weight and it worked.
I have the adjustable weight all the way in the toe. I could hit melt it but don’t have any access to the tools for that.
I guess I could add more of the weights to the head but I do think I like the weight distributed on the head this way. Plus hot melt changes the sound. I don’t want that.

Put the red weight in there and you can get it to D5.5
