After starting along the beaches of Leucadia and heading inland through Paso Robles, Toulon Golf’s Coastal California Series turns west again. The third stop in the Coastal California Series brings us to Big Sur and one of the most recognizable sights along Highway 1: Bixby Creek Bridge. If you’ve never seen it, stop reading and go search for some pictures. It’s truly breathtaking.
Rather than simply borrowing the name, Toulon used the bridge itself to help shape the putter.
Bixby Creek Bridge Inspires the Design
Bixby starts with the DNA of Toulon’s Las Vegas mallet, but the bridge-inspired details give the familiar fang-style layout a different identity.
Look at the flange and the connection to Bixby Creek Bridge becomes easier to see. Toulon shaped the opening between the rear sections of the head to echo the large arch beneath the bridge.
It’s probably the most literal design connection anywhere in the Coastal California collection, though the shape still serves the basic needs of the putter. Bixby weighs 365 grams, making it the heaviest model in the series.
The stainless-steel body receives the same Golden Sand PVD finish used throughout the collection, while the underside uses a three-piece blue sole. Toulon combines lightweight 6061 aluminum with a polymer center section carrying a subtle wave pattern, another reference to the Pacific running below the bridge.
Long Neck Creates Just 8 Degrees of Toe Hang
The hosel configuration adds another difference from the familiar Las Vegas platform. Toulon extended the neck to create a near face-balanced configuration with just 8 degrees of toe hang.
It also creates another distinct fitting option within the Coastal California lineup. Leucadia sits at 45 degrees of toe hang. Paso Robles is at zero. Bixby lands just above face balanced at 8 degrees. The final stop will move dramatically in the other direction.
Three-Piece Sole Adds Coastal California Details
Bixby also gives Toulon more room to use the blue treatment that visually connects the four-putter series.
Its three-piece sole occupies a large portion of the underside of the head. The engine-turned aluminum provides the color and texture, while the polymer center section fills the space between the two rear wings. From address, much of that construction disappears. That keeps attention on the familiar mallet outline and the geometry created by the bridge-inspired flange.
The face receives the same Coastal California milling pattern found on the other three models, inspired by California highway signage.
Our Take on the Toulon Bixby
Bixby may have the strongest connection between location and putter design in the Coastal California Series. The Golden Sand and blue color combination tells part of the story, but incorporating the Bixby Creek Bridge arch into the flange gives the putter a connection that goes beyond finish and graphics.
There’s also a useful fitting story underneath it. The long neck takes a familiar Toulon mallet platform and brings toe hang down to only 8 degrees. That should make Bixby especially interesting for golfers who like this style of head but want considerably toe hang than a conventional plumber’s-neck version provides.

Toulon Bixby Specs and Pricing
The Toulon Golf Coastal California Bixby Long Neck launches August 26, 2026, with pricing beginning at $700 before optional shaft or grip upgrades.
Bixby weighs 365 grams with the standard 10-gram weights installed and features 8 degrees of toe hang, full-shaft offset, 3 degrees of loft and a 70-degree lie angle. Its three-piece sole combines 6061 aluminum with a polymer center section.
