It is finally Summer Olympic time and if you have been paying attention to Toulon Golf on any of their various social media platforms, then you know that they are tipping their cap to the host city this time around with the introduction of their newest Small Batch release, the Paris.

Toulon Golf “Paris” Small Batch Putter
You have to give it to Toulon Golf, they are incredibly clever when it comes to their Small Batch releases and always rooting them in a specific source of inspiration. When it comes to the new Paris putter, there are two main points of inspiration. First and most obviously, the city of Paris is playing host to the 2024 Olympic Games. However, the newest putter also has a second tip of the cap within its design premise, and that is to the Toulon putter used by the reigning Gold Medalist, Xander Shauffele.

The basis to the Paris is the Las Vegas shape within the Toulon lineup, but that doesn’t mean its simply a copy and paste of that putter. The compact winged mallet based on one of the most successful putter shapes of all time already has the Toulon twist on it, but for the Paris it is kicked up a notch.

Foremost, the geometry of the Paris has been gone over with a fine tooth comb to ensure that the putter is not only physically balanced in the stroke, but also visually balanced at address sitting dead square. Face thickness has been altered to ensure the sound/feel is up to Toulon Golf standards as well as being worthy of the Small Batch moniker. Additionally, the topline flares to heel and toe points which frames the golf ball even better at address while adding alignment value to boot.

Of course being part of the Small Batch, the Paris is slow milled from 904L Stainless Steel and it carries another gorgeous finish from the company, this time Champagne. The sole contains the Eiffel Tower in a nod to the namesake and is a one piece milling. The Paris does have a shorter H1 hosel which matches the trends on Tour right now with mallets and features the same Deep Diamond Groove milling pattern which won two Major Championships this year for Xander.

The Details
The Paris officially releases today, 7/26/24 in extremely limited numbers and will be available on the Toulon website, www.ToulonGolf.com. As has been the case with the other Small Batch releases, the Paris will also be priced at a premium $1,800 for the super limited design.
My main putter is a special order Toulon Garage Chicago. I really like the designs and quality of Toulon products. This one to me just seems like they are mailing it in.
Very nice putter! Would be great addition to a collection.
Honestly, for 1.8K and with the Xander link mentioned in the article, it’s a bit of miss for me given it’s not the same headshape that Xander uses.
Looks really slimmed down curious of a head to head with a Vegas just to see the size comparison.
Milling work looks great. I’m not a big fan of the finish personally.
Great writeup. Love the color of this one. “Champagne”fits the theme so well.
I’m glad they didn’t Olympic theme it up and cheapen it. This is the first one in a long time I’ve really wanted.
I do like the shape but the color I not real crazy about. Milling looks good.
I really like the shape, the milling, and especially the bottom of the putter (although you don’t really see that) – but like others, not a huge fan of the color myself.
I’d be curious how the finish looks in the sun. The rose gold Atlanta I have can be blinding.
Not my favorite head shape from Toulon.
Love it. Love the gold, love the shape, love it all.
This is probably my favorite Toulon small batch release yet.
I’d need to see this one, I love the shape but it’s not as exciting to me as some of the darker finishes

I think that’s why it is so attractive, personally. Much different than all of the dark finishes.

It’s a head turner imo.
I’d love to see them use this finish more down the road.

Do you have this one in hand?

We seem to be in the minority on liking the finish, but I think it’s truly stunning.
I’m in the I dig it camp here. I like the shape, like the colorway and like the way they implemented the Eifel tower on the sole. I’m a fan overall.
This is a really cool release. Nice nod to Xander, especially after coming off of a major win
Love everything on this one but the color. Off course, I’ve no idea what other color would have worked for the overall theme.

That’s why I said I need to see it, I didn’t dismiss it immediately

I do not, it’d be killer to take in-hand pics of for sure

Yeah, it’s a bit surprising to me but an well.
I like that they come up with some incredibly unique finished for the Small Batch releases.

I get what you’re saying for sure, but Small Batch releases aren’t meant to be exact replicas, they’re evolved takes on them with a higher attention to detail and shaping.
I love it. The finish looks incredible, and I am a huge fan of the milling pattern. Would absolutely love to own one.
I get it, they are premium offerings now, it just makes me sad I will never actually own one.
Great looking putter. Not going to spend 1800 on it, but it does look good.
Another looker… These Small Batch putters are works of art.

They really and truly are
This is incredible. Love the finish. And am very glad they didn’t go the gold plating route to keep the price point in line with the rest of Small Batch.
I think this one is really well done. Gorgeous putter.
If it were a short slant…
I also think it may have been cool to use a little Eiffel Tower on the top as the alignment line instead of a normal straight line.

I’m in this camp. The diamond milling on the face is very eye-catching, and although I can understand it, I’m not big on the colour. The sole looks really good though!
I saw this in hand. It’s noticeably smaller than the Las Vegas. It looks great but I prefer the finish of the First Run putters for actual use on course.
Really sharp looking. They really do a fantastic job with these releases.
