Toulon Golf started its Coastal California Series in Leucadia, using the relaxed beach community north of San Diego as inspiration for a softened traditional blade. For the second stop, the road turns inland.
Paso Robles brings vineyards, oak trees and rolling hills into vision, and Toulon has paired that setting with perhaps the most traditional mallet of the four-putter collection, the Paso Robles.
Toulon Paso Robles: A Classic Mallet
Toulon describes Paso Robles as its take on the classic mallet. The head uses familiar rounded proportions rather than the more angular geometry we’ll see later in the trip. A double-bend shaft creates zero degrees of toe hang and 3/4-shaft offset, giving golfers who prefer less face rotation another option within the collection.
The head weighs 360 grams with the standard 10-gram sole weights installed. Toulon’s Golden Sand PVD covers the stainless-steel body, but the underside provides much more visual contrast than Leucadia.
A three-piece blue sole sits beneath the head, using lightweight 6061 aluminum to provide the blue half of the collection’s sand-and-sea color story. The engine-turned pattern gives that sole plate additional depth when the putter is turned over.
The design is mostly hidden once the putter is behind the ball, which keeps the address view much closer to what golfers expect from a traditional mallet.
Built for Less Arc
The neck configuration separates Paso Robles from the three other models as much as the shape does. Its double bend produces zero degrees of toe hang. Toulon says the setup is designed for golfers who want to minimize arc and help the putter return closer to its starting orientation.
That gives the Coastal California Series two very different fitting options through its first two releases. Leucadia’s H1 L-neck and 45 degrees of toe hang accommodate considerably more natural face rotation. Paso Robles sits at the other end of that spectrum with its face-balanced configuration.
Coastal Details
Like the rest of the series, Paso Robles is precision milled from 316L stainless steel and uses the new Coastal California face mill inspired by California highway signs. The finishing work does the rest of the storytelling.
Golden Sand covers the body, while the blue sole sits beneath it. The combination gives Paso Robles a much different appearance than Toulon’s standard production putters without changing the classic mallet profile.
Our Take on the Toulon Paso Robles
Paso Robles is a 360-gram classic mallet with a double-bend shaft and zero toe hang. Golfers who already gravitate toward face-balanced mallets should recognize what Toulon is offering immediately.
The limited-edition treatment is where things get fun. Golden Sand PVD, the blue three-piece sole and the highway-inspired face milling give Paso Robles a very different personality from a standard Toulon mallet.
The road turns back toward the Pacific next, with the next model displaying a much more architectural approach to the series.
Toulon Paso Robles Specs and Pricing
The Toulon Golf Coastal California Paso Robles Double Bend launches August 25, 2026, with pricing beginning at $700 before optional shaft or grip upgrades.
The putter weighs 360 grams with its standard 10-gram weights installed and features zero degrees of toe hang, 3/4-shaft offset, 3 degrees of loft and a 70-degree lie angle.
