The craziness of 2020 has continued and with some uncertainty, brings the question to golfers about traveling. Will you travel for golf this year? Have anything set already or playing it by ear?

Other than one planned trip, I usually don’t travel too far for just golf.
outside chance if current fall trip is cancelled, then wife wants to go to Idaho or Canada instead.
it. kills. everything. ?
I’m excited about the golf and hitting Casino Arizona; I’m not too excited about what the airport scenario might look like and flying with a mask.
hopefully not me, hottest I’ve ever been was in Dallas in mid August, and I was used to what I thought was hot in MO with high humidity; no comparison
We will also be taking a road trip in the fall. Not sure where we are going as yet. Most likely we’ll just hop in our rig, and start driving. Maybe flip a coin for the initial direction.
Obviously, should we run into a golf course during our travels, we stop and play it.
Not only the MC, but I had been hoping to get away to Turkey or Spain again with my old man in the autumn, but not looking like it this year. We’re talking about possibly Srping next year but I’m not keen on booking anything just yet given the reluctance of airlines to offer any refunds at the moment.
Thee only way I’m traveling outside of 5 miles for golf is if I get into a THP event.
where in N.C. will you be? We have THP’ers in the Raleigh area, Charlotte area and of course @J.B. Cobb IIIAt the beach in Wilmington
I’ll hopefully be in Ocean Isle Beach. Trying to get down there at least once a year now that I’m back on the east coast.
I guess I will have to travel through AZ in the AZ THP League.
This year we opted out, but maybe we’ll go next year if all this mess is over.
Do that and there’ll be no lovin McLovin.
I may drive somewhere to play but I’m pretty much out on flying this year. It would have to be something pretty special to get me on a plane.
I think Dallas can be a little worse than Austin but either way Texas in July-September is hot. I’d try for sometime in October if possible. I don’t mind playing golf in the heat because riding in carts gives you a chance to cool off a little from wind. I would think a golf school could be a little rough though.
The idea was to prepare myself for a great year with descending Handicaps from my March school. Now, I’m not sure if I should put that off until next March or try to do late this month.
I guess I am heading your way lol
name change to shovin mclovin

May drive down to MB to see the old fella in the late summer.
