At THP, we believe that testing should be done not only by the staff here, but also by the golfers just like you. One of the cool features about being an active member of the THP Forum is that we look to you guys/gals, the consumers, to give feedback on equipment to golfers all around the world. Each month we send out iron sets, drivers, hybrids, putters, trainings aids and golf balls to our active members to be a part of the THP Forum Member testing.
A few months ago, a group of THPers were part of the THP Event called Staff Proto got a chance to do the impossible. Tour a major company headquarters, meet the R&D team and get fit for new irons 3 months before release. They have been putting the new Wilson Staff C200 irons to the test for the last 3 months and today you can read all of their info they have compiled.
You can read all of their reviews, filled with every amount of detail you want to know about the Wilson Staff C200 irons here.
I can’t wait to see the user reviews on these irons, Wilson/Staff puts out some amazingly forgiving clubs and I bet these really perform.
I’m glad that the embargo is finally over and the guys are now able to post their reviews. W/S produces exceptional golf equipment that, unfortunately, flys under the radar of most consumers.
Solid irons, going to be great for my game. Very thankful and honored that I was selected to attend the #StaffProto event and be given a set of these irons to play and review. And the Aldila Rogue shafts, so legit as well.
These irons are very impressive in hand. Another solid offering from Wilson Staff and the guys who were part of the event are doing an awesome job with their reviews
Very nice looking irons and they fit lots of golfers.
I am here in Las Vegas, in late February, 2016. I went
to three of the golf outlets and no one carries
Wilson clubs. I then called Wilson golf and inquired
about possible site to see and hit the new club. I
was promised and e-mail, but none was sent.
I had a real interest in these clubs but I and others
will have to pass since Wilson has not done it’s
home work..kinda hard when you would like to help
a smaller golf company do better..
Sincerely, The Jyster
Do the Wilson c200 irons come with hybrids?
Dave,
They do not, but the D200 hybrids are available.
I tested these irons out and they were phenomenal. I’m a 15 handicapper, using callaway XR at the moment. Put these up to the test against my Callaways with a trackman, I got easily 1 club length longer with the C200, significantly less dispersion as well. A real joy to hit, but now I cannot decide which set to go forward with. Truly love my callaways, but these were awful convincing.
Hats off to wilson staff they have produced something special here !! I play off 12 and Originally Had in mind TM rsi/psi in mind or mizzys… during the custom fit my pro said “give this a hit but don’t look at the club or brand” Wow !! Phenomenally long, less dispersion forgiving with great feel top shaft too !! Very very impressed… I’m shocked these clubs aren’t selling out but my pro said people are avoiding them because there Wilson’s !! Unbelievable !! Try these out before going elsewhere you will be pleasantly shocked. And just to prove I don’t work for wilson the TM M2 3 wood and driver are top notch well worth a whack if your in the market for new woods 🙂
Currently on a trial before you buy. W/S sent a 4, 7, and PW. Disappointed no hybrids as I prefer 5 hybrids up That said hit 4 iron multiple times on range and confirmed why I prefer hybrids. Packaged 4 iron back in the box to return. However 7 and pw are exceptional clubs.
Crisp, long, and accurate. If any complaint they may have been too hot. Really went to po long
