While at the 2014 PGA Merchandise Show, THP TV caught up with Wilson Staff to discuss their latest in golf ball technology.

Targeted for advanced players, the new FG Tour has a 4-piece construction with each layer designed for optimal performance. The rubber-rich soft core provides feel and low driver spin. Both mantle layers promote maximized velocity and the cast urethane cover generates tour-quality spin and control around the greens.

The new FG Tour features a 318 dimple pattern that guarantees exceptional distance and a stable, penetrating flight trajectory in even the toughest wind conditions.

Very interesting. I’m playing the Duo at the moment and enjoying it. I think I’ll give this new FG Tour a try even though it might not be targeted for my cap level.

  2. IceyShanks says:

These sound very interesting for sure! I can’t wait to give them a shot this season. Wilson should not be overlooked.

  3. DawgDaddy says:

I believe I will give the new FG Tours a try, I do enjoy the Duo so that feel in a premium ball is tempting.
